Looking thus far in the season, IMO Anthony Davis seems to be the clear leader for DPOY award in just his second season. Other players such as Hibbert and Jordan are also having great years defensively but Davis is averaging over 10 rebounds per game (top 10), 1.6 steals pg (top 15) and leads the league in blocks per game at 3.34 (almost 1 block per game more than Hibbert who's second in the league). His improvement from rookie year to this year has been impressive, and most noticeable on the defensive end. Tonight he continued his strong performance with 17 pts, 16 rebs, and 4blks.

Many good candidates, but doesn't Anthony Davis have to be the frontrunner?
