LeFlopJAMESParticipantVonleh over Randle? Doubts
McDermott at 8°? Maybe at 14°…

juves4783Participantin defense of aran, i agree that vonleh will go ahead of randle. he is killing workouts and has the stretch 4 ability that seems to be the new hot skill set for power forwards. if you think about the top scorers at pf, they all have stretch abilities (love, aldridge, griffin, nowitzki, davis).
mcdermott at 8 is probably a stretch. sacramento could use a pg or pf.

JoeWolf1McDermott makes a lot of sense at 8 and 9. Both teams’ #1 option is a space eating big man. Doug’s shooting would be a great asset as far as spreading the floor at the 3 position.

esperanzafleet69Participanti’d take stauskas all day over mcdermott at 8 or 9. mcdermott wasnt even a full inch taller than stauskas at the combine, and has about half of the playmaking skills.

SpartanGloryParticipantFor me spreading the floor isn’t enough in a draft full of potential all stars. You can get floor spacing from Harris and Stauskus too and those guys have more translatable skills than McDermott. He was a great college player, but he’s a 3 pt shooter in the nba. Why not reach for more with that high of a pick?

King CaluchaParticipantMock drafts at this time of the year are based on rumors, not where each player should go based on skill/potential.

OhCanada-ParticipantWhat I cant understand is how Toronto selects 2 PG’s and 1 SG when after retaining last year those were the two teams strongest positions.
Nurkic is still a 2nd round pick.
Ejim is undrafted.
Austin is 60th.
