Don't put me In Coach
It was really good, did not get to anything about Evan Turner unfortunately. Think it would be worth a buy. I loved the article Titus did for Grantland about Greg Oden. He knew Greg from AAU while I believe they were still around middle school age, said they were really close friends. Love his description of that block against Tennessee where Greg just kind of pushed past him, lol. That block was epic:
Think Titus had a trick shot vid as well and I know his AAU team back in the day was ridiculous with Oden, Mike Conley, Daequan Cook, Josh McRoberts and Eric Gordon. Also remember him having a kind of funny story regarding Daequan and his absolute presumption about entering the draft. Really like Titus as a writer, think most people would enjoy this book if they are basketball fans and familiar with these players, or wanted to see the point of view of a guy at the end of the bench.

Has anyone read "Don't Put Me In Coach" by Mark Titus? It's a good book with lots of insight from a former Ohio St walk-on. It came out a while ago but I just got around to reading it. The book is funny I'd recommend it to all hoop fans. His relationship with Evan Turner is hilarious.
