Don't mean to beat a dead horse..

I really don't mean to beat a dead horse but all I've seen on here is people bashing Randle for his decision to pick UK...

For me, its actually showing me something positive about these kids by how they would rather play with other great players than "be the man" on another team...

Think of how easy it would have been for Randle to go to Texas and possibly avg 20 points and clearly be the go to guy or the Harrison twins to go to Maryland..etc.

Going to UK especially next year takes a really unselfish kid and its not easy going to a team where its national title or bust..

Wanting to be another link in a chain is more valiant to me and much more difficult than going to a lesser program with less pressure where you get all the shots and minutes...there is much more pressure knowing you may only get 5 shots a game than getting 25..

Look if they are teaming

Look if they are teaming together for the good of basketball then it is fine by me, the problem I and many others have is the fact Randle looks to have been bought (that Rolex watch and Burberry suit was really nice) and the fact the man behind Kentucky getting most of these recruits is the most important man in basketball World Wide Wes. I may be a "hater" as Kentucky fans put it, but if you think all these recruits are heading to Kentucky to team up for the good of basketball then you are very naïve and I would rather be a "hater" than that naïve.

No one said anything about

It would be naive of someone to think that a lesser program wouldn't offer way more money and benefits than a program that needs as little program promotion as UK...

I know 99.9% of programs

I know 99.9% of programs cheat, but Calipari and World Wide Wes are so dodgy, I prefer the days when high profile recruits were more spread out.

Why post a reply to a topic

Why post a reply to a topic that you've read 20 times already? Is it that inconvenient to skip to another topic... SMH... Are we to search the forums everytime we want to post to make sure it hasn't been posted already?

yes, it is proper etiquette

yes, it is proper etiquette to do that, if not that you click on the forum to see what is active. in this case, all you had to do was look at the home page yesterday and it was cluttered with kentucky blah blah blah on posts right underneath this with related topics. and anyone that makes a forum topic opening up with "not to... blah blah blah" states the obvious opposite. like "not to be a jerk, but_" already sets up for a jerk response. the difference is i'm going to say what needs to be said whether it's the popular answer or not. otherwise it will never be said and nobody learns proper etiquette. i tried the polite way in another post and was ignored. i get a don't be a dick response and i got success. heavily negged, yes- so what? that's not why i'm on here anyway. i can tell you that at least as many people that negged me read what i had to say, so at least that many posters will consider what the heck they post now.

I don't think Wiggins or

I don't think Wiggins or Gordon go to Kentucky. They probably go somewhere else to be "the man" on their respective teams. I look down on these five star recruits all going to play on the same team. It says they don't want the responsibility of being the only star.
