Tongue-Out-Like-23ParticipantI’ve seen a highlight video like this… of Brian Scalabrine.
Don’t trust highlight videos.

bkballerParticipantI’m actually disappointed by these highlights. He doesn’t look like a lottery pick at all. His release is extremely slow and kind of awkward. His finishes in the paint are extremely weak against much shorter players. He also stumbled and fell and looked clumsy on a lot of plays. I expected a lot more from someone so hyped early on.

IndianaBasketballParticipantThe best thing about this video was the music… They should’ve saved that beat for somebody else. This kid looks average…

McWinningParticipantThat video makes me rethink him being a lottery talent.

bkballerParticipantYou can’t pass judgment but I thought he was a great shooter, with a release like that he is going to get eaten alive in the NBA. Plus he looks incredibly soft he is 7 feet and there was not a single strong finish in the paint in that 1:42.

rickyD510Participantyou cant really pass judgment off a video thats 1:42,and we dont know how long ago this video was created

IndianaBasketballParticipantThey need to take that beat and put it with a Derrick Rose or Russell Westbrook highlight reel. .
Lol seriously… This has to be the worst highlight reel of a first round pick I’ve ever seen. I’ve seen YMCA players look better than that.

IndianaBasketballParticipantCan anybody tell me why he fell down at 1:24? And look at the way he shot the ball at 1:30 LOL… That was hilarious. No way he gets that release off in the NBA.
I hope this video was very old.

OrangeJuiceJonesParticipantI think I know what’s going on here. The person who made the highlight reel slowed the video down so that we could truly appreciate Motie’s greatness. This guy’s an innovator.
Either that, or Motie had the Itis throughout that entire video.

sheltwon3ParticipantThis video is old because I saw newer stuff on him and his hairstyle is different and he move better than this. He should be late lottery to early 20s

this is a little better but it has interviews in it

Mr. BasketballParticipantHe was really good against cousins and the other freshman in the nike hoop summit so to say that he won’t be able to do much against better competition is ignorant.

PureshooterParticipantThe guy is very thin, but is a good shooter and has great quickness for a seven footer. He’s going to be a guy who won’t start to produce until he fills out a little bit.
My biggest concern is that he doesn’t explode up to finish at the basket and tends to release his shot far too low, specifically when driving or in the post.

Dc773ParticipantY’all can’t say I didn’t try to make it viewable lol. And the funniest part about it is NBADraft.net has him going 11, which is too high. I think whatever team drafts him will stash him in Europe.

kanebangerParticipanteveryone looks good in highlights i think he averages 7 points a game and 3 rebounds. nice form on his J though

Michael.S.Participantwow, watch some more of him before you comment please. To say he is not a lottery pick because of this is ABSURD

Mr.Knick 32ParticipantMotie will not be a lotto pick come the draft IMO.
He’s a Bargnani clone in my eyes. He will be at best a good player. He’s not ever gonna be another Dirk

JimmeredYaWabafetParticipanthe(58 percent shooting for 2 pointers)actually does have much better stats than what Andrea did in his final year with Tv(49 percent for 2 pointers) ,also attempts 2 less threes a game he actually reminds me of Chris Bosh now after seeing that video though he could be like Gasol if he’s a gym rat good job by the way.

JimmeredYaWabafetParticipantok both averaged the same points and rebounded basically the same in their last year happy now, and Donuts is a better defender barely

omphalosParticipantI must admit, I get a little frustated when people rag on Bargnani as an utter failure and a comparison of what not to be, when his whole problem is he was drafted alongside Chris Bosh, a stretch 4, and has never played with a legitimate inside presence at his natural power forward position. It all comes down to who picks Motiejunas, but if he ends up somewhere with a legitimate defensive centre I don’t see why he couldn’t be worthy of a lottery pick. Too many times people complain about how sucky a player turned out to be when they were screwed over by the "best player available" system and pushed out of position.
It’s a little ironic that Motie would have likely been drafted higher last year as the sole international PF/C, but now has to compete with three other internationals.

butidonthavemoneyHe’s a really advanced offensive player. I just watched a game of his from a few years ago (I can’t find anything recent), and his passing ability is uncanny. He’s not a point-forward or anything, but he has an incredible instinctual ability of finding his teammates for open layups. His court-vision, awareness and reflexes are off-the-charts for a 7-footer.
I desperately want to watch him play in a more recent game to see how he’s developed.

butidonthavemoneyHopefully somebody broadcasts the Eurocup Final Four, which Motie’s team (Benetton Treviso) will be participating in.
