Does the Dwight Howard/Lakers talk disappoint you as it much as me?

I'm gonna say this: I understood LeBron leaving Cleveland. I didn't understand putting ALL the pressure on you AND joining 2 top 15 players at the time in Chris Bosh and Dwyane Wade.

All the Lakers fans are cool with it but I'm not. I hate the fact Howard could and probably will be joining the Lakers in 2012 if Orlando doesn't win a title. Maybe it's the way some of the players were brought up, or Dwight loves LA or he doesn't have a competative bone in his body but: I seriously think all these superstar leaving is lame. In 1996, the Lakers got Shaq but they weren't even close to getting to a title the year before. Charles Barkley and Scottie Pippen both joined Hakeem in Houston and it didn't work (mainly because they were slightly on the downhill athletically)

It just upsets me that the great players are just thinking "well, once my contract is up, I'm going to Boston or LA." I really think the NBA needs to do something like getting rid of the MLE, Bi-Annual deals.

I know this is going to sound

I know this is going to sound extremely naive, but I'm doubtful he leaves....to me Orlando is a major market and He seems genuinely more comfortable in Orlando then Lebron in Cleavland

I'm a Laker fan, and I'd be over the moon if Dwight joined em, but he's been the face of the Magic franchise, and I think he should stick around. It'd just be a case of the rich getting richer, and a fanbase getting their heart torn out when their franchise player leaving.

The Laker fan in me is all for it, the NBA fan in me says no.

Funny

First Orlando loses Shaq to the Lakers, now possibly Howard. Two franchise centers. With Yao possibly being finished they may lose the only franchise center in the league.

"joining 2 top 15 players at

"joining 2 top 15 players at the time in Chris Bosh and Dwyane Wade."

I love how low Chris Bosh has sank in the best 6 monthes.

Bottomline is, I dont see LA getting him, unless Kobe is out of the picture and they start to look mediocre and they need a homerun move to get thim back into title contention.

Indiana, the Knicks have 1

Indiana, the Knicks have 1 top player in Amare thats it.

The Lakers have 2 already and Odom is pretty dam good.

Howard will most likely stay with Orlando especially after those 2 trades.

If they resign JRich and get a backup Center they should be title contenders for a few more years especially with the Lakers, Celtics, Spurs and Mavs all getting old.

how has Chris Bosh sank

how has Chris Bosh sank exactly? He's putting up 18 and 8 shooting 50% on a team with 2 first team all NBA guys, is that really considered sinking? Must be alot of PF on good teams sinking then. That's comparable to KG after he went from the Twolvs to Bos. Bosh has been playing very well actually

As far as Stars going to different teams, i have zero problems with it. Prob because i've been around long enough to know its very common.Stars either leave as a free agent or traded, doesn't mean they aren't competitive it just means there competitive and wants to win just like the rest of us in real life. If you're a lawyer and like you're job you may wanna stay at some small law firm that gets small clients or you may wanna go to a big law firm for bigger clients, either way it doesn't make u less of a lawyer or less competitive. Its all about winning and anyone who play in the NBA wants to win and most will move on to another team if they have been with the same team for years yet they have gone as far as they can go.

Like some one said i doubt you would have any problems if he was talking about going to New York. I don;t recall you hating it at all when the rumors of LeBron or Cp3 or Melo coming to New York was talked about

That's because the Knicks didn't represent the East for 3 years in a row in the finals. I'm just not cool with Howard leaving to go to a team that won 2 titles in 3 seasons. Sorry man.

So you had a problem when the

So you had a problem when the Knicks were good and they were getting good free agents every year like Larry Johnson? That's odd because i don't know of one fan who would mind getting good free agents and getting better. Guess you're a rare first.

I dont remember one Bulls fan who was like " oh no we have won 3 titles and now we are about to get Dennis Rodman that's not right"

So if the Knicks were to win or get to the finals and Melo wants to come there this summer you will make a post saying how wrong it is?

- Well, I was like 8 when that happened. So I really didn't have a opinion but then. Also, Comparing Larry Johnson with the bad back combo with the bad legs is not comparable to Dwight Howard.

I dont remember one Bulls fan who was like " oh no we have won 3 titles and now we are about to get Dennis Rodman that's not right"

- Your not getting the point. The point is I just dislike top players going to already top teams.

So if the Knicks were to win or get to the finals and Melo wants to come there this summer you will make a post saying how wrong it is?

- You wanna bet money that doesn't happen???? Exactly, shut up.

I'm saying shut up because

I'm saying shut up because that makes no sense...at all.

Oh the Knicks are gonna win the title and THEN will you admit a superstar going to a title team is a good thing? No...I wouldn't. In fact, I was watching the NY-CHI game today and said " I don't want to trade Landry Fields" so why would I want Melo.

Your not ending the convo because of what I said, your ending it because you compared Larry Johnson to Dwight Howard and got called out for it. You always make lame excuses on so many things. Then, if your right for a game or two, you'll make a post about it like "LOOK EVERYONE, I'M RIGHT AND YOUR'E WRONG" get over yourself. Seriously, It gets realllllly LAME after a while.

Like I said in the past: You're the guy who says something without making a point. Then, WHEN what you said proves to be false, you flip flop your arguement to make it benefit in your favor. I respect your basketball past, but not when you try to sell me this B.S. that your "that in depth with GM's" and you know more then most of us.

Real talk: If you have all this insite and pull with people...why you always getting stuffwrong?
