Doc Rivers Admits signing Shaq & Delonte West might be a Major RISK
The Celtics improved their team this summer by adding Shaq,West & Jermaine O'Neal.
But they also doved into risky territory by adding 3 players that could destroy team chemistry..
If chemistry is a big part of a team's success or failure then the Celtics are taking a chance..
Celtics coach Doc Rivers told a Boston TV Station..That he admits the teams new additions might destroy the team's chemistry..Chemistry is a delicate thing and i'm as cautious as anyone..Shaq has had problems,Jermaine,Delonte & Nate all have had problems...You have Shaq 1 of the 50 greatest players of all time..He's still capable of getting a double-double..But here he might only play 10 minutes a night..Will his strong personality be please being a part-time player? Some blame Delonte West for destroying Cleveland's chemistry..The Cavs seem like a together bunch until rumors started to circulate that West was sleeping with Lebron's mom..
Doc said this might be his biggest challenge as a coach..But it's something he looks forward to...Becuz all the new comings know they're not coming to Boston to become the star of the team..
They're going there to be role players..Trying to help them win a ring..And thats a big difference...
Shaq seems a bit more humble nowadays. As far as Delonte goes, all Doc has to do is make sure that he uses protection. You can't really stop Delonte from being Delonte. The ladies love him......
