I had a feeling somthing was wrong with his finger after he was fidling with it during the whole timeout. I even posted it on a forum last night. But it is on his left hand, and while his shooting is probably going to be fine, he prefers to finish with left hand. Either way, I dont think it will affect him much once the game starts.

I don’t think it will hurt his mid range game as much as it will hurt his post play and long range. Its his non shooting hand, but its still the hand you brace it with. Its a bad example but for instance, you ever tried to shoot when you spring your finger while playing? It doesn’t have a huge effect, but it nags and may alter your release. I think he’ll be fine, but still there is bound to be an effect here and there.
