JPBrayParticipantAll the talk has been about the Bulls moving Noah or Deng for a high lottery pick, while matching any offer for Asik. Could the Bulls trade Asik to the Hornets, who have interest, for the 10th pick. The Bulls could then draft the best SG left, Rivers/Lamb/Waiters, and then use the 29th pick to draft Asik’s replacement, Henry Sims/Festus Ezeli/Fab Melo. This could give the Bulls a SG to pair with Rose, and keep the backup center role on the cheap but productive. To me, keeping Noah and Asik is not efficient for your front court lineup as they are very similar, and they should compliment Noah with a more efficient scorer off the bench.

TRC1991ParticipantI would pray for New Orleans sake that they dont move the 10th pick for a backup center

220ParticipantAsik is a restricted free agent so he can’t be traded at this point. They could sign and trade down the line, but it can’t happen now.

LukeT34ParticipantThe Hornets would have to be out of their mind to trade the 10th pick for Asik. There is no way he is worth that much. That kind of trade would seriously hinder their rebuilding process.

ChewyParticipantI will youtube "Irish Jig" and watch how they do it, memorize the steps, practice in my spare time then run out into the middle of the street and Jig just to be able to express my joy for the Bulls.
