    So here we go:

The Washington Wizards get Rashad Lewis. That’s laughable because at this point, I would rather start Al Thorton and have Lewis and his more than $90 mil contract coming off the bench.

Orlando receives Gilbert Arenas, Hedo Turkoglu, Jason Richardson and Earl Clark. Not bad. None of the guys can play defense; hence more pressure on Dwight Howard. But I like Areneas here. This COULD be huge. But I need to see the chemisty first. He also needs to play point guard, meaning Jameer Nelson, who to me hasn’t recovered from his injury, hits the bench as a good backup. Arenas or Turkoglu can close a game, though Turkoglu has lost a step. Jason Richardson is also intruiging. He’s having a good year.

The Suns are set for an aging Vince Carter, a slept on Marcin Gortat and defensive stopped Mickael Petris, who can hit the three-point shot. Gortat will give the Suns a good rebounder if he can keep up with the fast offense. Any chance Vince Carter gets waived, lol. Probably not, but he role will diminish even more in Arizona.

Had the J-Rich Turkoglu trade on my 2k11 for about a month now. Surprised it somehow actually occurred.

You’re not the only one. Phoenix got rid of Turkoglu’s ugly ass contract. Lost Earl Clark who I don’t think will ever be tough enough to make a good pro. Lost Richardson but replaced him in VC. Got a legit starting center in the league in Gortat. And also added a very underrated piece in Pietrus, a very good perimeter defender who can also stroke the deep ball.

I like some of the additions we made but I don’t like losing our best wing defender, taking on Turk’s rediculous contract and trading Gortat for less value than I think he could’ve gotten.

the only bit that suprises me in the trade is the rashard for gilbert.

unless orlando moves nelson they are now stacked at the point (arenas, nelson, duhon and williams) and relatively thin up front.

i wouldve loved to see rashard return to form playing with turk and jrich.

guess well have to wait and see but i do expect him to step it up in washington, should see a good spike in his numbers.

Gilbert is a shooting guard that likes to dribble. A team cannot win with him at PG, so that problem is solved,

i dont know if phoenix won but i really like this trade for them. this team looks like it can make the playoffs. the question is, does phoenix settle for 7 or 8 seed in the west or do they trade steve nash and do a complete rebuild?

the problem with a possible rebuild is they dont have a young star player. they have some solid young players(lopez, dudley, dragic) but if nash goes, this team would really struggle. and if they do trade nash, what could they expect back?

a few weeks ago it was said that phx was talking to indy about an earl clark for solomon jones swap.

do you think there is any chance that the magic now do this to get soloman jones as a back up for howard?

Phoenix have upgraded with VC for J-Rich, Gortat gives us extra size at C with Frye probably able to move over to PF. We have shifted Turko’s nasty contract and get a possible future first rounder so as a Phoenix fan I’m quite happy with the deal.

Losing Clark may not help us long term but the team needs to try and stay in play off touch whilst Nash is there and with VC having a team option next year, Hill being out of contract and Nash going into his final year then the roster can be blown up if needed.

Orlando have taken the biggest gamble blowing up their team but they have moved Lewis and got a younger guy in Arenas, getting Turko back may be a good move for both parties. J-Rich gives them another top 3 point option and Clark gives them a younger piece.

Washington have had to take on Lewis’s big deal but longer term they save money and the team can fully be John Wall’s now. Lewis gives them solid veteran experience at SF or PF and his 3 point range will help John Wall spread the floor. Also in his last year Lewis will have nice trade value for the team to look at.
