8th Deadly Sin will appreciate this, but Devin Williams is off to a beastly start in 2014-15. Last year as a freshman, he established himself as one of the better rebounders in the Big 12, but as a soph, he’s really building on his reputation on the glass.

He’s really dominating against George Mason tonight, especially on the glass. Although a lower tier A-10 team, he has 16 points and 9 rebounds, in probably a shade over 20 minutes, and with his frame and another year of experience I could see him flirting with a double digit rebounding average on the season.

Offensively he’s really raw, and hasn’t mastered the art of taking good shots, but judging by his small sample size he’s improved his free throw prowess.

Kid is a brusier, he’s got that kind of Patrick Young, but more productive vibe to him going forward. He’s going to need continued work on his offensive game to really sell himself as a pro, but kid was beasting tonight.
