 So about a year or year and a half ago Devin Robinson out of UF was projected as a lotto pick and now hes not even going in the first round. I havent really been able to catch too many games but his stats dont look too bad and he has good size and hes just a soph. I just want some input from somebody that has watched him play more.

 from the little I see im guessing its his wirey frame but he seems to have a nice stroke decent not great athletism… im guessing scouts see him as a good college player that doesnt translate to the nba.

I think he’s being looked at as more of a tweener now by scouts. I think people saw him as a big wing last year with mismatch size but I’ve read that scouts are down on his lateral quickness and doubt his ability to guard the 3 spot and his handles need work. He could still be a decent stretch 4 but then he loses all of his mismatch potential because he’s small and skinny for a 4. I haven’t seen him play much so I can’t confirm or deny this, but that’s what I’ve read about him.

I was wondering the same thing about Daniel Hamilton, he went from top 10 to not being there, and he’s had some great games this year so far. I expect to see Hamilton back in the 1st round of the mock for this year.

It looks like he can dominate high school and maybe some college but put a real defender on him and he might not have the quickness or strength to get by an nba 3, and obviously not the size to guard a 4. But he seems to have enough of a shot and if he can work on his handles and hit the weights he would be a very good nba player. Like I said i havent been able to watch him too much so maybe I can get a better idea of who he is this year.
