What do you guys think the nets will do with Devin Harris if they draft John wall? keep him or trade him?

I think his play this season kinda sorta ensures that they will trade him. I just have a feeling it will. He was overrated to me anyway, as I said this summer. One of those players that breaks out big time and then kinda is just solid after that.

IF Wall turns out to be as great as everyone expects, then I’m sure they’d trade Harris eventually. I don’t think they’d trade him immediately though.

I still think Harris can be an All-Star caliber point guard. He started off slow this season and has had to deal with injuries on and off. I think he’s also had to adapt to the team deciding to play through Lopez in the post.

This month he’s averaging 21 and 9 though.

i say keep them both, harris can guard twos and he is quick. That combo will be a beast and if Wall and he cant play together trade harris for a 1st rounder and some vet shooting guard.

I def. think they should they should hold on to him, And i think John wall would be the guy to guard the 2 men not Harris.
Also he has a great contract, There is no point guard in the NBA that is on a long term deal better than him for the money. He might not be the best , but is the best for the money which means a lot considering what teams do to create cap space.

He’ll be traded most likely if they get Wall.
Other teams will have interest in Harris and probably offer a young player the Nets could use a big PF or scorer at any other position.

when harris is healthy he is a allstar talent thats a given. right now wall isnt a sure thing. cant trade harris before seeing how wall will do in the nba. would be a very dumb move

I think this could be a Chauncey Billups/Rondney Stuckey situation. They keep Devin Harris for a season and then trade him, and wall takes over as the starter. I think he could stat his second year Stuckey did. This could be a bad move for New Jersey though.

i could see that. with harris getting traded and becoming even better while wall looks good but not better then harris or living up to what people thought
