Eric Devendorf, Syracuse University redshirt junior, has changed his mind and will declare for the NBA draft. http://www.syracuse.com/orangebasketball/

NBA draft.Net’s profile of Devendorf says he’s one of the nation’s top combo guards.

Devendorf broke the Big East Tournament scoring record during March after Syracuse lost in the Big East Tournament Championship.

As part of one of the best back courts in America, Devendorf returned this year from an ACL injury and was second on the team in scoring at 15.7 pts.

Say what you want about Devendorf, but he hit a lot of clutch shots last season. Don’t even get me started on the 6 overtime game against UCONN. Jonny Flynn recieved a lot of pub, but he didn’t do it by himself. It was all Devendorf until the overtimes started.

I like Devondorf becuase he’d solid at all aspects. Wont Wow you with athleticism, jumpshot runs hot and cold. Im not sure he’s going to carve out a successful NBA career. D-Leaguer

Not big enough to play 2 guard, not quick enough to play point guard. Devendorf is an average college player that clearly has behavoiral problems on the court. There is a difference between confidence and cockiness. Devendorf is too cocky for his talent level. I see him being a career European player similar to Gerry McNamara or a Drew Nietzel.
