With Detroit offering the 12 pick for a proven veteran and Boston having a log jam at the Hurd position are they perfect trade partners? Celtics could Trade AB and get the 12 pick. Celtics get younger and can draft a big man with potential. Saves cap space and now you don’t decide between AB and It next year. Gives Fultz more playing time and rozier can get some minutes as well. For the pistons they get the best defender in the NBA. A guy who can score and would fit nice with there core.

i rather have avery bradley and hope to resign him then the 12th pick. Boston might decide to stick with him over IT next summer if hes cheaper and is better fit alongside fultz. Will be interesting to see but bradley is really good.

Boston have big decisons to make over the next year with Bradley and IT both being free agents next summer. They could look to estend them beforehand but IT in particular will be due a huge hike as he is getting well below market value. Also if they make a big FA signing and rumours of trading for a PG13 or Jimmy Butler etc then big extensions for IT and/or Bradley will be hard to fit into the cap. Add in Marcus Smart comes off his rookie deal in 2018 and Horford is still on his big deal too.

I’d say if Boston want to be win now they don’t trade Bradley or IT but if they wished to take a step back and almost mini rebuild around Fultz, Brown, Rozier, Smart and who ever the 2018 Brooklyn pick yields then it could happen.

I’d personally want more than 12th pick for Bradley though.

That’s funny actually, I was just thinking if I was Detroit I’d want more than just Bradley for the 12th pick…

Not a great fit for either team, Celtics already stocked with talent, they don’t need any more solid role players/fringe starters. Pistons need to reset, their core works well together but they need more, in todays NBA u need a star to have some success, might as well draft someone with a high ceiling, especially in this draft, top like 20 guys couldve been top 5 picks last year, very deep draft.

Makes sense for C’s only if Zach Collins is still available

What in the…Avery Bradley for the 12th pick? I know Celtic fans tend to over rate their own players more than most fans, but jesus. AB is the best perimeter defender in the league not name Kawhii, is a good offensive player (40% from 3, great midrange, great cuts, CLUTCH!), and the silent leader of this Celtics team. I think at this point he is worth more than the 12th pick in the draft, and if not, he is worth more to this team than that. I hope Bradley is a Celtics lifer, he’s a championship player, and model team mate. I’ve been on record stating that I would 100% sign AB over IT.

I think if DET is looking to move the 12th pick for a veteran than they are going to have to look for a team that’s looking to blow it up. If Pacers are thinking of trading George, #12 for Teague wouldn’t be a bad deal.

I also wouln’t be surprised to see a team like Raptors get involved in the mix, though idk what they could send back.

Detroit wouldn’t be interested anyway unless they are not bringing back KCP.

Detroit needs a pg & a pf not a wing.

Bradley would be a KCP upgrade though.
