    I know D Rose won mvp, but if you actually had to start a franchise and you had the number one pick, would it be DRose? or if you had to pick a point guard first, would he be it?

     If I could pick anyone: Dwight Howard, as he is still young and is the MVP in the league, given his contributions on both ends of the floor.

    If I had to pick a pg, then it would be Deron Williams:  He will still be good as he ages (not that he is old), and I prefer his style of play to Rose, as he is the superior distributor and could fit better with other scorers.  Rose is right their with him, though.

     If i could start a team with any point guard it would be Chris Paul because he is one of the best leaders in the NBA.Also unlike most gaurds he give your team an identity as he can play any style of Basketball,He is a great passer (better passer than D-Will),a great shooter and can even be a scorer and  he gets you steals and plays hard on D.Also, I know he is young but I would go with John Wall because he has had one one of the best Rookie seasons of any point guard in the NBA that you can recall.
