DeRozan a no no for Raps
I hate when NBA players are like this. They should be greatful they are having a chance to play in the NBA. Why is DeRozan saying he doesn't want to play for Toronto? Its a beautiful city and its NOT like we live in igloos and ride polar bears to work or something like that. I guess this is showing DeRozan's attitude and I don't think he is even worth being on the Raptors in that case.
We might aswell get a player who wants to play and contribute to our team rather than some bum who is rejecting workouts and really has no interest for the Raptors.
Maybe he doesnt wanna move from Sunny California to Cold Canada? Ya this is dumb players should be forced to work out with teams you shouldnt be able to skip stuff and choose which city you want to play for as a rookie, I can see as a Veteran because you have a fmaily there and stuff but not as a rookie.
Toronto is only cold in the winter months. Like recently we've been hitting 20-25 degrees celecius (68-77 degrees fahrenheit) and in the summer time it can go as high as 37 degrees celcius(99 degrees fahrenheit) The winter months it'll go down to -10 degrees celcius (14 degrees fahrenheit) and sometimes it is really cold but sometimes it isn't.
But if DeRozan's reason for not playing in Toronto is weather, then he has to be such a soft person for real and has to be a whiny player. Can't he bundle up for a few months? Other players on the Raptors haven't complained about the weather, like Bosh is from Texas and it can get hot down there but he has not complained. I think that is just a sad excuse for not playing in Toronto but then again we don't really know if that is his real reason.
I definitely don't approve if this is his attitude. However, I will admit that most of us Americans are just plain ignorant of what life is like north of the border. From what I've heard of Toronto, its a beautiful, thriving city with perhaps the most diverse population in the world. He's a barely out of high school kid from Cali who probably thinks of all the negative stereotypes involving Canada and doesn't want to deal with the currency issues to top it all off. Although he could just be whiny. There's plenty of people who could inform him what its really like. Plus if he's actually working out for them now it doesn't matter.
