Wow i can’t believe this is 4 real.  His number is retired already lol.  Wonder how other players in the league (or on his team for that matte) feel about that after he only played a few games while they probably busted their asses for years for their organizations and teams.

Gonna look kinda ridiculous is a few years. Hey remember that American allstar that was here for 10 games 5 years ago? Yeah that was cool!

and having his jersey retired by a Franchise with a long history…It’s actually really disrespectful to the other players they came before him…I would not have done this but I’m not a Turkish Team GM…It sends a horrible message to the players that come after,,…It says "yes, you can bust your ass here for years and win multiple Championships, but you’ll never be as Loved and respected as an NBA player that was here for a month…"

I bet he wishes that the NBA never has a lockout again.  Because if they did, and he went back there, he wouldn’t get his jersey because it was retired after 15 games!  It is nice to see that he had that big of an impact on the fans, team, and entire country down there in Turkey.  I’m sure his 50 point game he dropped not to long ago will be one of the best (if not the best) single performances Turkey basketball will ever see.  Good job DWill, looking forward to seeing what you can do for New Jersey this year.

That’s just wrong. I don’t know why they did it but you guys are right… It’s not fair for the players who played longer on that team than D-Will.
