Well we all know denver need a SG and here is a trade that they do not have to give up pick 11.
Denver receives Matthews and Freeland.
Portland receives Foye, Vesely, Mozgov.

If I’m Portland I’d rather have Matthews size and defense over Foye’s scoring. Mozgov is good but… do they really need him considering they already have Robin Lopez? Not a bad trade, but I say nay.

  Matthews is like 3 years young than Foye so Foye would most likely retire earlier plus Mathhews is much better than Foye.

Vessely is not a good player. Foye has never seen a shot he doesn’t like. The idea of getting those two players is terrible. I can see Mathews is clearly underrated on this site.

I know he’s not a great player, he can’t shoot and he’ll never be a playmaker, but he could be a cheap option for Denver at the 2. It’s not a flashy move like a trade or drafting a potential stud, but he’s good for 10-12pts and a couple of assists a game. Won’t be too expensive either after a few down seasons in Detroit.
