Smith getting up right on

Smith getting up right on ball not allowing him to do anything off dribble so ball pulling threes and 2-2 to start from deep.

This might legitimately be

This might legitimately be the only Summer League game I've ever seen that I was convinced the league fixed. You can't look at LA without sending 'em to the line.

i think the lakers are

i think the lakers are finally understanding how they must play in order to maxify lonzo's talent.

today's nba is heading to a high pace game and lonzo fits perfect in that style, so the lakers just have to play at a very high pace and surround lonzo with good shooters that don't dribble the ball more than twice to shoot... if they do so they'll win a lot of games in the future and they'll be very fun to watch, plus lonzo will be a triple double machine...

regarding lonzo's offense, the guy is showing he has a globe in his right hand throwing those touch down passes; i think he should really add the "floater shot" to his game as that's almost like throwing an alley hoop pass, so he would feel confortable with that shot and would have a weapon in the "middle game zone". I've seen he's shot 2-3 floaters in summer league and he seemed more confortable than shooting jumpers...

Lonzo

Lonzo ball is even better than I Thought he would be. The guys passing is transcendant. His full court passes are like an Aaron Rodgers deep ball. I've never seen a guys passing impact a basketball game like that. If his shot drops like it did at UCLA he's going to be an unquestioned superstar. Also I think even without his shot he ends up a superstar because I think his passing is better than a prime rondo.

He's everything I thought he

He's everything I thought he would be at this point. Excellent passer, streaky shooter, horrific defender.

Ball left game a few minutes

Ball left game a few minutes into third quarter, but he was fantastic. 16 points 10 assists no turnovers in 21 minutes. Smith got up right and made life tough for ball in terms of one on one stuff, but that's not really a balls game and he didn't force things. Took the shots, hit the open man and pushed in transition. Also he's been great in pick and rolls and pick and pops. Defensively he got beat one on one a number of times but it wasn't like he was left in dust, he contested but smith was hitting and is a great one on one player. Overall ball win this matchup although smith played well too.

Also love the few times ball has posted up in summer league. He's shown drop steps and tonight hit the post up fade away jumper. He also passes great out of post.

And let's hear it for Kyle kuzma. 20ppg in summer league and he is going to be a big part of how that deangelo Russell trade is remembered. He's far from just a throw in on that deal. 5/7 from three tonight where he's shooting over 40% from three in summer league.
