KayjayParticipantHe said out of anger to westpaul…
"If you don’t like me, trade me then!"
So instead of pulling him to the side, or trying to reason with him, or even asking the GM to talk to him. He decided to go public and embarrass him. So Monday Cousin’s talks to the GM and released a small statement and traveled with the kings to memphis.
But it didn’t end there, he came off the bench instead. So Westphal could show his long arm/dick of the law. To basically make the situation worse.

OhCanada-ParticipantWhat Sacramento really needs to do immediatly is simple. Set their new years goals!
1-Get rid of Westphal.
2-Get rid of Cousins.
3-Hand the franchise to Reke.
Westphal and Cousins are both acting like egotystical maniacs. Just get them both out. Sacramneto has a great abundance of talent beyond Cousins, and their are plenty of capable coaches that can simply replace Westphal. Jason Thompson is a very talented player, as is JJ Hickson and both players could use the 35-minutes per game Cousins has been zapping for Sacramento. Obviously Cousins doesnt want to play there with Westphal. If a new coach and a new system cannot fix his attitude then chuck him just like Miami did with Beasley…but try to get more value for him lol.

Meditated StatesParticipantHe needs to be.a shooting guard. The team will never go anywhere at the point. I would use jimmer like the C’ s use Allen and get a passing pg. I would keep Reke if he moves to the 2

Meditated StatesParticipantI would rebuild this team by getting value for the guys I don’t think really help u become a winning

TallmanNYCParticipantYou can’t just trade Cousin. He is in his initial draft-controlled contract and so is only about $4 million a year. That is in a league where Kwame Brown gets $7 million a year.
I’d be frustrated if I were playing on the Kings as well. The Jimmer is the best passing guard on the team. That is kind of joke. What is a big man going to do with that kind of ball-hogging perimeter play?

Jlv2011the first 20-30 games then make a coaching change if they’re not playing better. Kings management really failed the coaching staff. You put all these selfish players on one team and don’t bring in a solid point guard. The results show on the court, 30th in assists. Would have really helped if they kept Beno and left Salmons alone. Salmons is just an older Tyreke Evans. Neither compliments each other. Most of the Kings players don’t fit well together.

PulseGlazerParticipantShould DMC be traded, I’d love the Hornets to get him. Monty is an excellent coach who can help DMC mature, while the Kings could feasibly get a solid pick and some desperately needed role players back for him. I know his talent would seem to demand more, but well, so would Beasley’s. Minni’s draft pick and Kaman’s expiring deal or Jason Smith should get it done.

surveParticipantOh Canada, you have a point about getting rid of Westphal and Cousins. Obviously Westphal goes first. I am not sure how long Westphal’s arm/dick will be very soon either. His days are numbered….and not necessarily because they arent winning, but because they arent winning AND he cant control DMC. Westphal doesnt have leg to stand on because if he sits Cousins, its not like they are going to win any more games. His offense is under heavy scrutiny and sitting DMC while maybe the right thing to do….only hastens Westphal’s demise.

db24kb24ParticipantTrade Reke.
Package Reke, JJ Hickson, DMC and a first round draft pick to Orlando for D12 and Glen Davis.Get Clippers involved and have Mo traded to Sac, Trey Thompkins to Orlando have JRich traded to LAC
Orlando wins because D12 doesn’t walk, and they rather not deal w/ Lakers.
1)Nelson 2) Tyreke 3) Hedo 4) Anderson 5) Cousins
Sac wins because they get rid of DMC, and that lineup would seriously contend
1)Mo Williams 2) Thornton 3) Outlaw 4) Uno Uno (as requested by glen davis) 5) D.Howard
Clippers win because they get a true SG who can spread the floor for Griffin and Chauncey can back up either 1 or 2.
1) Paul 2) JRich 3) Butler 4) Griffin 5) D.Jordan
