Thanks for checking in on us here at this premier draft website.  We know you get all your insight on drafting from us here and really appreciate how you put together the Suns together last year.  The Suns went from unwatchable to counting dunk after amazing dunk from G. Green,  tag teaming tenacity with Dragic and Bledsoe and the bench to starter Plumlee who rocks the rim on occasion and plays some D.  Here is our summer wish list:

1.)  Dont overpay Bledsoe.  He played well and very well at times but isnt the missing link for Phoenix.  Give him a nice raise but if he wants to sign big elsewhere then sign and trade for Defense and Rebounding.  He can be replaced with Archie Goodwin or 14th pick in Elfrid Payton.  Like his comparison to Rondo/Devin Harris.

2.)  Trade up only for best case scenario.  Example could be trading 14th, 18th, and 27th pick for 6th pick held by Boston.  Flip 6th pick in 2014 and top 5 protect pick from LA in 2015 and Morris bros for some outstanding PF who can Rebound, outlet pass, and shoot from deep : )

3.)  Our picks to click:  14th pick needs to protect team from overpaying/losing Bledsoe.  The 6th pick(if traded for) can be Smart or previously mentioned Payton at 14.  At 18 choose from whos left of the SF pool.  A dark horse pick would be G. Robinson who could thrive on a good team and is from the Robinson lineage.  Otherwise Anderson, Early, or Warren.  At 27th try to trade up for Adreian Payne.  Good size and Rebounding needed.

4.)  Finally, stay the course and keep building.  After drafting lets send these picks to the Summer league and D league team.  What?  D league team?  I think its the growing option for the NBA.  The Suns recently acquired the full ownership of their D league team and plan to make it a mirror image of their parent team.  With 6 picks chosen in 1st round by 2015 and atleast 2 second rounders their D league team could be legit.  I know your laughing viewers but seriously, too many 1st rounders lose their value playing in the NBA first instead of actually building value in D league which benefits their team later in trade value or replacement value.  Due to current lack of talent in D league they could atleast be playing each other for development or play the Suns in practice games.  Only pull players from D league when its beneficial for team/player and continues team chemistry.

Staying the course and building is just besting their overall performance from last year.  Current Suns team could probably make 8th seed this year standing pat from last year and be exciting to watch.  Fan since 93 and wishing long term success for my team like the Spurs have accomplished since 99.   McD… your the man to make it happen!

I just can’t see Phx having the magical season that they had this season again..  Will dragic play that well again?  Can the Morris bro’s really be apart of a team that is anything more than a yearly lottery team?  And there is no way you can trade ur late lottery/mid 1st rounder for a top 8 pick.   Being in Phx you do have to think long and hard about overpaying Bledsoe because who knows when a talent like that will be within your reach.

big time players… make big time plays
