So here is the deal, Players and Owners still have to vote on it.

Is it just me, or is this the deal the NBA had 2 weeks ago?  Maybe 2 or 3 tweaks to it.  Now teams can sign all the guys they drafted to max deals, great for OKC who can keep their core.

Nothing there regarding the Age Limit or the D-League demotion they wanted.

this is basically the same deal with a few tweaks where the players wanted…..i think the didnt like the no sign and trade rule so they altered that, i thnk they raised the mid level for luxury teams by .5 mil……..just a bunch of tweaks here and there……….i think its a great cba……and things like age limit and other small things will be notched out by the end of next week

lets just get ball going…..I MISS MY RAPS!!!!!!!

It shouldn’t have taken the players to sue in order to get these changes. These are the exact same changes the players had been requesting for the last several weeks, but the owners would’ve give it them. Once the players agreed to a 50-50 split, that shouldn’t been all the owners needed to give the players the few free-agency tweaks they needed to get the season started. The owners are primarily responsible for the missed games.

However, I’m just happy a deal is done. Christmas is going to be very merry for everybody in my household.

Okay so Derrick Rose is eligible for

    2012-13- $17,413,200

    2013-14- $18,719,190

    2014-15- $20,123,129

    2015-16- $21,632,364

    2016-17- $23,254,791

    Total- 5 years, $101,142,674

For 2012-13, the Bulls will be looking at $57.507 million for Rose, Boozer, Deng, and Noah. Gibson and Butler will be on the roster for rookie scale deals. Korver, Brewer, and Watson will be on team options. Omer Asik will have a QO. Filling out that roster with a strong tax environment is going to be tough.
