BiggysmallsParticipantThere is always at least 1 trade involving a big name player that most people just dont see coming. Last year it was Deron Williams going to Jersey. I dont know if we will see as big of trade go down this year due to the condensed schedule really screwing alot of things up, and the fact that there are alot of young teams right now that dont want to break up their core of pieces, and alot of the superstars have already gone to their places now.
I would not be suprised to see a guy like Jennings traded actually, but I dont think that constitutes a big trade by any means as Jennings is a good but not great PG right now.
I personally hope the Wolves trade Derek williams if there is a good offer out there. He is probably our best trade asset right now and isnt getting pt with Love hogging it all. I don’t know what the Wolves could get for him though, some people say an Eric Gordon caliber player, but I really dont see it.

The Scare Crow ReturnsParticipantWilliams is a good prospect, a top 3 pick and a very good trade chip…He may not fetch Eric Gordon per say, but I see no reason why he wouldn’t bring back OJ Mayo or Demar Derozen…Gordon is a different case because he was at 20ppg before this years trade to New Orleans and recent stint on the injured list, his wanting a big deal makes for a trickier deal too…
Now guys like Mayo and Derezon haven’t reached their potential yet(not saying Gordon has either by any means)Their teams may want to take a Guy like Williams and make him what Mayo and Demar have yet to become…I think the Wolves should take a look at trading Williams or Beasley for a Sg, but they shouldn’t feel forced to do it either…I think a realistic quick fix would have been to sign JR Smith to start at Sg, and trade for a Mayo/Bayless type to play a Jason Terry role off the bench and sliding Wes Johnson to the Sf/Pf role ala The Martrix…Barea can stay put as a partial closer and pick roll option…Makes sense to package Ridnour and Randolph to get the Mayo/Bayless/Barbosa/Lou Williams???Beasley looks like a guy who’ll bolt in Free Agency this year but won’t get them enough to want to Trade him, its weird like that with Beasley…He reminds me of Zac Randolph in a lot of ways…

aamir543ParticipantI think Deron Williams will be on the move. The Nets are going nowhere and he is obviously out. They need to atleast pull somthing off and get 60 cents on the dollar before it’s too late. They basically gave up Favors, Kanter, and a late lotto pick for a one year rental. They need to deal him fast, to LA for Gasol? To Houston for Lowry and Scola? Not many options out there though, and since his contract is up now, a scrub team like Charolatte won’t risk it all. Unfortunatly this isn’t 2k12 where we can flip Norris Cole and Bosh for DWill.

The Scare Crow ReturnsParticipantI would trade Deron to Philadelphia for Holiday,Young, Hawes, and Philadelphia 1st rounder in 2012…I think the Sixers could stand to lose Young and Hawes at Sf and C with Iggy/Turner/Nocioni at Sf and Brand/Battie and Vucevic at C…Whoever makes a move to get Deron could get Howard as well if they clear cap…Just pointing out the Sixers could Amnesty Brand and bring Howard in during free agency…having a starting 5 where Deron and Dwight are surrounded by Turner and Iguadola sounds has solid has a Team can get…yeah I was this was 2k12…

db24kb24ParticipantPau has played his way back into the graces of Laker Nation. He has nights where he can be considered the best PF in the game, and he is getting really comfortable with Bynum. So i’d be really shocked if they move him.

PulseGlazerParticipantWhy has everyone forgotten that the Nets still easily have the best bet at Dwight and Deron together? I don’t see Deron being moved. Dwight isn’t doing better than a longterm core of himself, Deron, Marshon, Morrow, and whatever pick they get (ideally Barnes).
