I’d take Jonas Valanciunas or Brad Beal in my top 3, over Drummond right now.

valanciunas no doubt over drummond. Big Val is starting with only aaron gray backing him up as someone able to match up against big centres. He surprisingly had a nice looking foul line jumper tonight, making 2 out of 4 of those i believe. Plus the guy plays super hard and will crush on the boards.

I think he’ll get way more of an opportunity than drummond, Casey seems to love him in every interview

Drummond no doubt over JV.  Drummond is bigger, stronger, and faster, younger, and has more potential.

I agree they are the top 3 rookies, I like Waiters and Barnes as the next 2 to round off the top 5.

Dude, you need to clarify what you’re asking.

Unanimous top 3 for what? The rest of their careers or just this yr?

If it’s just this yr I’d go with Davis, Lillard and JV.

Drummond has actually played well through preseason and looked like a guy who could bring in 10-10-2 now as a starter. 16.6MPG 62%FG 9pts 5.8rbs 1.4 blks over 8games, 2 of which he only played 6 and 9 Mts in.

I see Davis and Lillard right of the bat.  Drummond looks good so far, but I don’t think he is a home run yet.

Also note Valenciunas’ double double in 17 minutes of his first NBA game playing against Roy Hibbert!  He will get more minutes than Drummond as a starter and is already more developed as an all round player.  No need to jump to any conclusions right now.  Just give him the season and he will earn your respect.
