ZarathustraParticipant2 great winning coaches in Europe having a different path to the NBA.
-Blatt coaching a title contender, guess he didn’t expect coaching Lebron and K-Love./Messina is making a second stint as assistant-coach,this time with the Spurs, previously with the Lakers.
-Blatt had a head coaching opportunity that turned into a potential dream./Messina on his part is "still" an assistant.
Wich path do you think will the more succesfull ?
The pressure is on Blatt right away while Messina,by his (chosen?) situation, has time to adapt to the NBA environment.I equally wish them all the best anyway.

CameronCrazy11ParticipantI actually like the path that Messina has taken more. He gets to become acclimated to the NBA style in a lower pressure situation and will probably have an excellent shot at being Pop’s replacement when he eventually retires. Not a bad gig.
