How high do you think DJO can rise with his results at the combine? I think he can at least rise to the top part of the second round. He’s a tough defender even though he is small. He also has a pretty good handle and court vision though probably not good enough to run the point. But his best quality will be his 3 point shooting (41% over 3 seasons at Marquette). I think he could be a quality player in the NBA. How high do you think he will go?

I’m torn, he’s a high character guy, an athletic guy, but a guy who looked bad in the full court drills against his draft eligable peers.  I know a 3 on 3 drill isn’t and NBA game, but he was busting his butt and getting out played by guys going 3/4 speed.

I think he might sneak in to the end of the 2nd round, but he very well could go undrafted and signed to a summer league team.  He’s a tough, hard working guy, so even if he does have to go at it the hard way, I wouldn’t count him out to make a roster when the season starts.

That being said, I don’t think his draft stock is very high.

I feel he should get drafted in the second and stick in the league. He is very good. If he were 2 inches taller we would not be talking about this.

I think that he eventually will get drafted somewhere in 45-60 range. He is that kind of guy I would like to have on my team because he is a competitor, he is tough, athletic and will give it all. Even if he barely get playing time he will still compete in practices and make sure that others will do the same. While not being an outstanding player he still can be an example of how far hard work can get you.

For young teams like Wizards he could really help as an positive hard-working example especially in practices. Also, while being undersized he still is good athlete and has very strong frame which together with his toughness and attitude can make him a very good defender combo-guard from the bench for those 10-18 minutes a game.

I just really like players tough and hard-working as he is and wish him the very best, if he finds a role he can be a pretty importand piece of a team.

it might be because he’s a lefty, but i was watching some footage and he gives me flashes of harden.

i think his size will ultimately keep him away from the top of the second draft. one thing tho, i like marquette products

I like Crowder and DJO but don’t think either of them will go in the top 40.

It might be true, I have watched few of his interviews in the combine and in one of them he was asked what players in the NBA he likes the most, so he said that he really likes watching James Harden.

He just wants to play as he said just tell me where the workout is and I’m there. Watch the invterview

I don’t see him going to high being that he is an undersized 2 guard but he could be a more athletic Eddie House. Or another Salim Stoudamire. I’m just happy for him. Dude came a loooong way. People from Raleigh  probably didn’t think he would even play college ball, let alone the NBA. He is a coaches son too and is a hard worker. He will find a spot in the league. It would be kinda cool to see him in Washington with another Raleigh native in John Wall

I actually have him going early second. My internet has been messed up and hasn’t been saving my mock on here, but I have it wrote down and it seems I remember having him early second. I’ll probably re-do my mock once more barring no trades and he may fall depending.
