hwrafoth93ParticipantDoes anyone know anything about Damien Inglis? When will he be draft elgible? I have looked everywhere trying to find out more information about this 6-7 18 yr old wing from France. I have a feeling he could be very good in the NBA one day

tortueParticipantI’m French and I follow Inglis since he’s 16.
Inglis is a very strong point-forward with great athleticism. He’s often compared to LeBron James here though he’s not as quick or explosive. He’s more like Kawhi Leonard athletically (a forward with a muscular frame and a huge 7’3 wingspan and good athleticism) with better playmaking skills (court vision, handling, passing)
He could be an elite defender but he needs to adjust to the speed of the SF position, he was mostly playing PF until this year.
He needs to improve his shooting skills, jumpshot, three point shot and shot selection which are his main weakness.
At 6’7 235lbs he already has an NBA ready body for the SF spot
He struggles this year because he didn’t make the best choice at playing in Chorale Roanne, one of the most disappointing team in French Pro A, with one of the most controversial and defensive minded coach (Luka Pavicevic)
I think he could be very good in the NBA one day too, from a french comparison he could be at Nico Batum level with better handling skills and a stronger frame.
