I’m going with Damian. If the draft was done over he would go 1 easy.

The fact you spelled his name wrong tells me everything. And the fact they weren’t even in the same draft makes this hilarious.

While Lillard is a beast and can get better, Kyrie just turned 21 and I think has way more potential. Kyrie has no one around him so I think his assist numbers will get better as time goes on.

I think he was referring to this past draft, There was no mention that they were in the same draft he means over Anthony Davis.

That being said Lillard is my 2nd favorite player in basketball and if it came down to which one I would want on my team IRVING every time. He is younger than Lillard and doesn’t have the supporting cast either, but has won games for Cleveland. I was sold on him after that 4th quarter against OKC to give the Cavs the win, I don’t think it will take long for him to enter the MVP debate and in next 3-4 years he will be the best PG in NBA.

I like the Lillard and Will Barton back court. WB is a baller who has scored more recently and threw down a nasty
dunk against the Thunder the other night.

I don’t wish bad on any player but Irving’s durability is in doubt. Ever sense college til now he seems to get a sort of injury that has him missing a chunk of time. But he does seem like the better.

Irving on talent is obvious, but this question isnt that simple because look at irvings history of injuries over last three seasons… Talent its irving all day but i might possibly take lillard due to durability

Irving is younger and better, Lillard is good though.

Kyrie is significantly better…Damian is good…Kyrie is up there with Westbrook, Stephen Curry and Deron Williams

This is silly. Irving hands down. Its not even close. throw in that Kyrie is also younger, I seriously don’t know what the debate could hinge on. maybe the durability thing, but every player is one bad step away from a massive injury anyway. Look what just happened to Kobe.

I’ll take Irving because he can carry a team and is clutch. But he needs to improve on defense, right now he is half the defensive player Chris Paul is.

If I was a gm and redid the draft Id still take Davis #1.. I knew Lillard would b this good.. But Davis has potential to be a HOFer Lillard not so much

For those of you who think Kyrie Irving is significantly better or this is no contest, can you elaborate a little?

I’d probably go with Irving too (I think he’s more efficient), but Damian Lillard is for real.

Exactly. Sure Kyrie looks like he has more upside, but lets not brush off Lillard like he is a joke.

Lillard’s rookie year has been very comparable to Kyrie’s, and I know Lillard is older but playing in the Big Sky or whatever didn’t exact prep him for the NBA. Kyrie has been outstanding for his age, but he also is playing on a pretty bad team and hasn’t vastly improved the team really at all. I’d take Kyrie, but it really is a conversation for sure.

Taking Lillard over Irving is like taking Melo over Durant.
Either way your looking good but in both instances they are older and don’t he as much room to grow.
