fito91ParticipantI’ve never had a chance to watch him play and I was wondering if you guys could tell me a little bit more about his game.

TheLastWordParticipantNot much to dislike about his game. Score first PG with a silky touch. His assist numbers aren’t great but either are his teammates. Hard worker that has improved drastically every year in college. Athletic but not a freak. Worth a look in the late lottery.

SwatLakeCityParticipantGreat player, great competitor and a real class act. Is very similar to Jimmer in that he can light it up from deep, and is very crafty in getting to the hoop. He does not average that many assists but nor did Jimmer at BYU. Both have sub-par teammates though so that might be the reason. Lillard seems to be a better rebounder. In Jimmer’s last year at BYU he averaged 4.3 assists and 3.4 boards. Surprinsingly he only 39.6% from 3. Lillard is averaging 3.9 assists, 5 boards and is shooting 43.6% from 3. I believe has a better IQ than Jimmer because he does not put wild shots or shoot to early in the shot clock. He is also not the scorer that Jimmer is but is still a scorer nonetheless. Lillard averages 24.5 per game while shooting 47% and Jimmer averaged 28.9 per game while shooting 45%. So Lillard is very similar to Jimmer but I think is better rebounder and a better shot selector than Jimmer was.
Not quite sure how Lillard does against better opposition since does face inferior competition every game. That will have to wait until the tourney later this month. But since he is so close to Jimmer, I sincerely hope that he doesn’t struggle like Jimmer has so far in his rookie year. Right now a late first rounder but could sneak into the late lottery with a good tournament performance and good workouts.

uknationParticipantLove his game. First mentioned him when i first started playing against him in the Utah summer league 3 years ago. He does work against Ronnie Price as well as all the other Utah Jazz guards. He’s a much better passer than he shows but doesn’t have the talent to pass to, also needs to score a lot in order for his team to win. Very efficiant when scoring is a very big plus
