Portland wins a lot of games when they hold opposition below 100 points.
The series was decided by 28 points over the 6 games with Houston actually outscoring Portland by two points.
Dwight played well in this series but Portland for most of the games made Harden into a non-factor in most of the games. Hardens defence was beyond poor.

The Trail Blazers said Lillard is the first player to make a buzzer-beating shot to win a playoff series since John Stockton’s 3 that led Utah over Houston in 1997’s Western Conference finals, according to the Elias Sports Bureau.
Lillard has multiple 3-pointers in six straight playoff games, a franchise record.
Big probs for someone who is a Playoff Rookie playing his first postseason ever!
Btw, LA averaged 30 for the series… Wow

The one shot that I can remember being bigger than this was MJ’s pushoff on Byron Russell and then hitting the game-winner to win the Finals.
This shot was crazy though. Still can’t believe how poorly Houston defended it.

Portland after so many false dawns with Roy’s knee issues, Greg Oden etc have won their first play off series in 14 years, a great achievement by Coach Stotts and his team.

Even as a Rockets fan and living in Houston my entire life, all I can say is that, while I do wish the Rockets would have gone further this season, I cannot help but be happy for Portland. Lillard will be a top 5 PG in the future.
