Not to mention, McDunkin had one of the most legendary pictures of all time about Dalen. Hard to find it though, think a lot of his stuff was removed or is missing :(
I thought it would be semi-realistic, as I did not fall for any of the other ones. Especially not Jared Sullinger hires agent, which I saw was posted as soon as April Fools day happened (12 am). The David Stern one was decent, but I did not really believe that one either. Personally, I think David Stern has been a pretty awesome commissioner, and while this lockout may seem to be his issue, he has done a pretty good job as far as I am concerned. Every pro league has its share of garbage, but I think the NBA is still run better than the other leagues. Just my opinion.
As far as Dalen is concerned, I am glad catoosa22 is banned, but I think he was probably a good guy. He just was so arrogant and self promoting, it was difficult to take him seriously and easy to ridicule him. I saw he finished his HS career with over 3000 points, one of only seven people to do that. I honestly wish him the best, but he was an incredibly obnoxious and immature poster in here (if that was him). If he actually would have actually been a little less arrogant, I think he would have been responded to quite well. But, unfortunately not everyone possesses humility.
I kind of felt bad posting this afterwards, and I really do hope Dalen does the best for himself he possibly can. Believe me, I am not against him eventually being on a D1 team, or even in the NBA. I just kind of hope he learned a lesson by his being banned from a board that embraces basketball prospects and talks about them constantly. Until he proves us otherwise, he will be known around these parts for all the wrong reasons. Dalen, believe me, I am not a doubter and hopes this shows that. I just get sick of people, even beastly basketball players, being entirely to conceited about their abilities. Let other people give you props man, I am sure they do and did, which is why you thought it was alright to talk about yourself the way you did. But, it gets old, fast.
Tell Dalen that someone made him look like a complete @ss on this board posting as him (though, I think he somehow knows this already). Is Dalen the best player you have ever seen in person?

I was always hesitant to join in the Dalen Qualls bashing, because I really doubt that a kid would go online and talk about himself like that. I think it is most likely just a friend of the kid doing at as a joke. Or it could just be that some &$#%#&@! thinks it's funny to get online and pretend to hype up a random mid-major level talent.

Comments on the Qualls highlight video...
1. Has he every played more than 1 game? Looked like that whole reel is from one game where he played well. How bout some other opponents there superstar?
2. That D by the other squad was atrocious. I seen better D being played in pickup ball at the Y.
3. He had a nice J going in this game but his release is so damn slow. If he ever plays against solid competition that shot is getting sent to the bleachers.
4. This clearly aint inter city ball by anymeans. There are no athletes on that floor. No size. The big men look like PGs.
5. I'd hate 2 be his teammate. Learn how to play the game as a team. He never looked once at a teammate to pass to or even read the floor.
Now advice for the future...
Don't come into anything in life with that ego no matter who you are. You come onto a court saying "imma beast" u probably arent. Dude needs to head to an AAU or Summer league game with real competion and I can safely say he's either gonna STFU or come back real humble real fast. You commin onto an internet forum trying hype urself up by being cocky as hell only gonna cause u problems.

1.Yes he has played against more than one team and against tougher comp,that video is old last year i believe when they were in class A, this year they were in Class 2A.
2.Yea there arent too many good Class A teams
3. As for his jumpshot ive never seen him get it blocked in AAU or HS yet
4. As i said before it was Class A, not too many athletes in Oklahoma's second smallest Class

McWinning wanted to change his name to McDalen, but was contacted immediately by the Sultan of Brunei's lawyers for copyright infringement as that was the name of his favorite palace.
It could be, but he just kept popping up and saying obnoxious things. So, it just kind of became him. It would be funny if he did actually have no idea about the whole thing, probably even a little unfortunate. But, I have a feeling this guy looks himself up on Google on a daily basis, or someone would have said something. I wish him the best, and I write these posts about him in jest. But, like most of the posters who try and self promote, it got old and they kind of made themselves into easy targets. Patty Mills was a perfect example. That name will probably mean the exact same thing to any of us here ever again :). I sincerely hope it was not Dalen, but we knew him as such and fairly or unfairly, he will most likely remain this figure here until we have proof otherwise.
Its guys in big citites such as Detroit, Cali that play in tougher leagues than this dude and have waaayyyyyyyyyyy more talent than him....jus be greatful you are getting some looks from schools, cause it's alot of boys I grew up with in Detroit that never got that opportunity and now they stuck in the streets.....and real talk they would eat this boy Dalen Qualls...alive

The game be all we have, yo." Mr. Qualls may be a hooligan, but he can "ball", as my fifth grandson, LeRoy would say.
Ya its like i said, he's got a decent J but that isn't going to get you that far once you're playing against real competition. And all that highlight shows is him catching fire against a team in 1 game. That isn't a real, its footage from the best game of his life.

The 9 time Oklahoma state leading scorer Dalen Qualls announced today that he decided to Rock Chalk Jayhawk! The pride of Stratford, Oklahoma said, "I am the coaches son, so I have to stay humble. But, my name is Dalen Qualls and I am a BEAST!" He chose Kansas over Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, North Texas, Gazebo University of France and Wakachipawopmamasaymamasawmamacusa State. Bill Self is saying that while Josh Selby, the Morris twins and Thomas Robinson may all be leaving school, he luckily will have the best player to come out of HS since John Bryant. Multiple banners are expected, and Dalen should keep NBA franchises waiting much like Tim Duncan as he plans getting his degree (all the best Dalen)!
