     I cant exactly remember who proclaimed that Rose had a shot at MVP before the season started, tongue-out-like-23 maybe? Anyways, I remember him getting blasted for it, "he’s got no chance", "hes got no jumper", "hes not even top 5 at his position, how can he win MVP", I guess alot of NBAdraft.neters are eating there words. Now, while I still dont believe hes the best player in the league(LeBron), he was certainly deserving of the award, so congrats to whoever made the proclamation BEFORE the season started, and didnt jump on the DRose bandwagon mid season and after all the ESPN hype.

     The award has always gone to the best player on the best team record wise. The Bulls played their hearts out and got the #1 overall seed  and thats because of Coach Thibodeau and Derrick Rose. They are struggling in the playoffs and the Derrick Rose from the regular season needs to step up

    I know D. Rose himself declared himself a candidate early by declaring "why not me for MVP or best player in the league."  That may have spurred on that conversation early on.  Anyway, congrats to him.  If you have not see the speech he made after getting the reward (especially talking to his mother) it is worth checking out.  One of the more humble speeches I have ever seen.

    On to the Bulls playoff run.  I agree with MM.  I think they beat themselves up over the regular season and lack the next gear to kick into.  Tonight’s a big game as Coach Thib’s has promised more intensity.  We will see if they respond.
