UNCbasketballbumParticipantMark Cuban is not very happy with Jason Kidd and I can’t blame him.
"I was more than upset. I thought he was coming. I was pissed. J-Kidd is a big boy; can do whatever he wants. But you don’t change your mind like that. That was … yeah. I’m sure I’ll get over it at some point, but as of now, I wouldn’t put J-Kidd’s number in the rafters.
Still shocked that Kidd walked away from a 3 year deal with the Mavs at the last minute to join the Knicks. Suffice to say, Kidd will not receive a warm welcome when the Knicks visit Dallas this season.

IndianaBasketballParticipantI can understand that Cuban is frustrated, especially after losing out on Deron Williams, but I don’t agree with him. Those are tough words to say about a player who helped get your franchise over the hump to win a championship.
Kidd doesn’t owe Cuban or the Mavericks anything and they don’t owe him. He obviously had a change of heart last minute and felt his services were more needed with the Knicks, a team looking to get over that hump too. The Knicks clearly did one hell of a job convincing him to join the team.

MikezParticipantRealistically, the Mavs aren’t going anywhere this year or next year, Kidd felt he had a better chance winning with the Knicks, that’s free agency.
But hey at least he didn’t go on ESPN and announce his decision.

aamir543ParticipantI can understand what Cuban is saying, Kidd had the choice to go wherever he wanted to, but I can’t stand it when people tell you their going to commit to somthing and then flip flop the next second, If Kidd gave his word to Cuban, than he should’ve meant it and known he was staying in Dallas, not jump ship to NY.

Chilbert arenasParticipantKidd did Cuban a favor. What good is he really going to be in three years? Good luck New York with an ancient JKidd and a FAT Felton.

BrentSuriaga01ParticipantWhy would Cuban even be upset? The guy is washed-up and would probably be a back up guard at best this season and take note, he was DUI. You wouldn’t want this guy driving along the highways of Dallas and be busted by police. It’s bad for the image if the city. Dallas has been a great fanbase, they don’t deserve him.

PyronParticipantman.. kidd isn’t washed up. sure he’s not the player who he use to be but he’s still better than other point guards out there.
he brings leadership and experience.. something the knicks haven’t had since billups. nyc will be solid at the pg position with felton and kidd there.

Tyreke JohnsonParticipantWhy would Cuban want Kidd at this stage in his career anyway? Darren Collison is no all star but he at least gives them youth and athleticism, two things Kidd has not had for awhile

geothermalParticipantkidd just wants to win,
he has a greater chance of winning wearing a knicks Uniform, its kinda hard without a Tyson Chandler type player manning the paint,

theballerwayParticipantTeams retract ofers and cut contract especially those partially guranteed ones all the time. Hes more embarrassed that NY was still more attractive to Kidd. He likes to think of Himself as a big mrket but NY beat him to 2 signings this summer

joecheck88ParticipantLet’s be real. He has the same chance of winning a championship in NY as he does in Dallas. That is 0% chance. Kidd can do what he likes and Cuban can be mad. Who cares? It’s over.

Chilbert arenasParticipantThe argument of Kidd wanting to win is a weak one, no one thinks the Knicks are in contention this year to win it all unless Melo goes insane after his olympic experince.

IndianaBasketballParticipantAnd did anybody think the Mavs were in contention when they won it?
The Mavs had to be the only team that everybody said would lose every round.
