Javaris Crittenton has signed a contract to join the D-League and is expected to be picked up by the Dakota Wizards, who are next in line on the waiver wire.

Dakota is affiliated with the Washington Wizards and Memphis Grizzlies, two of Crittenton’s former teams.

Really hope he dominates and gets a call up from a team in need for a pg that fits his style. GS, NY would be ideal situations. Orlando would be nice as he and Dwight were AAU teammates and had great chemistry. Also very good at setting up bigs. He and Gil back together though?! Yikes. Not sure, I’ll be rooting for him though.

This guy has a ton of talent and hope he makes it.  In the right system, he will be a solid player in the Association.  Just stay away from the firearms and high stakes card games and should be alright.

"Dakota is affiliated with the Washington Wizards and Memphis Grizzlies, two of Crittenton’s former teams."

He would not work out well with the Wizards with Nick Young having his coming out party. Wall locks all the minutes up at the 1 & Hinrich is a vet who comes in as his replacement. Another thing that hurts him there is the situatuion that went down with Arenas.

Memphis would be the better choice between the 2 teams. Mayo is the first man off the bench at the 2, which Crittenton plays although he can play the 1 as well, but they also have Vasquez slated there.

Orlando would be a good fit with the chemsitry he and Dwight have together. I don’t think the minutes would be there for him with all the vets they have there. I highly doubt Arenas & Crittenton would ever become teammates again. He needs to be in a system that has true veteran leadership where he can get minutes & learn at the same time behind whoever starts in front of him.

How has he been playing thus far in the D-League? I hope he will make it back on a NBA roster.

15k-30k isn’t shit, man… That’s really pretty sad. D-league players should at least make 50k.
