jeff416ParticipantI was thinking about what I wanted to do after high school and I was watching espn and I thought maybe I could make a telivision channel about sports. So im wondering if I were to do that would anyone on here would like to work for something like that? It would be only about sports mainly about football and basketball and maybe a little baseball. Could this idea work about making a tv channel that would challenge espn or is just some crazy idea?

McWinningParticipanti would help. you probably would have to save up a lot of money first though.

BasketballGuru24Participantloool if this actually went down……i think it would be pretty intresting. but you have to have alot of money start of local and if show airs locally……then better chances other nations will like to buy the show

JoeWolf1it would be hundreds of thousands if not millions of dollars to start up. You would need to get investors to help fund it. Saving would be out of the question. You’d probably need some sort of business background so you could put together a package you could show to potential investors, and a plan on how you could make money from this channel. I say go for it, but I’d say taking a business route or a journalism route or partnering up with someone who knows about that kind of stuff and is charismatic enough to sell it.

auberParticipantHere’s a better idea. Let’s let ESPN buy another station rights for a channel and call it ESPNBULLSHIT. You know for all the nonsense like the Domino, Rock Paper Scissor, Hot Dog Eating, Spelling Bee and Scrabble championships.
