Miko4rm206ParticipantWho is more deserving of a Ring. Melo or Cp3. You can definitely make a case 4 both, plenty of individual accomplishments amongst them. They both put their time in since the early/mid 2000’a since they entered the league. They will both probably be hall of famers even w/o a ring and I would feel for both of them if that happened which is looking like a real possibility but…..
I would feel more for Melo more. I don’t know why he has been receiving so much negativity/hate lately. But dude is one of the most prolific scorers since he came into the league consistently. He Bridged the gap between Paul Pierce/Tmac to KD and PG13. He was never in the right environment/team to really contend for 1. He had A.I, K-mart, J.r in Denver but that was a Street ball team. Give me that squad any day for Pickup games doesn’t translate to the NBA tho. Had Amare in NYC that could never stay healthy after leaving phoenix and Leave it up to Phil to f-up the rest of his prime. I would love to see him get bought out and end up in H-town and Him and Cp3 win theirs but I feel like him in Cleavland would give him the best chance period.

MatosParticipantCP3 was consistently the best PG in the league for multiple years. I’d go with him.

joe2324ParticipantMelo is garbage and does nothing to help his team. If really cared about winning, he would play defense. He’s lazy and selffish and does nothing to help your team win. He’s been wih my Knicks for almost 5 years and has done pretty much nothing except a few early exits from the playoffs.
I’m going with CP3. He plays intense on both sides of the ball and hes one of the smartest players in the league.

Miko4rm206ParticipantWell your Knicks been Garbage as a whole Since before the 2000 season. Can’t blame all that on Melo. He lead yall to the best season since then. Put a little more Respect on His name. You guys literally have not been good since Tim Duncan won his 1st ring as a Rookie. You do the math on that.

90sNYKParticipantWhen the Knicks were in talks for Melo I knew that it wasn’t going to work. Melo is not a winner. Talk about selfish; Melo could have signed with the Knicks for cheaper and allowed them to have a solid nucleus and draft picks when he got there. Instead he pushed for the trade so that he could get a bigger contract.
With all that said, CP3 is one of the last of a dying breed, a true point guard. He’s been unlucky with injuries but still comes back and competes at an elite level. He was the best PG in the league for years and is still top 5 in a league full of talented guards. CP3 has been unlucky in the playoffs but for him to get a ring would be a great feel good story.
