Everyone keeps saying the Clippers gave to much, and only one of Gordon or Minny Pick should have been included.

However, I disagree. I predict Minny will make the playoffs (7th seed), which will make the pick in the region of 16-20. Making the trade a steal for the Clippers.

 Who are they knocking out? Clippers are taking the Hornets place and that leaves one spot left because they aren’t better than Lakers, Thunder, Clippers, Spurs, Mavs, Blazers, or Grizzlies. That leaves Nuggets, Warriors, and Wolves fighting for the final spot and the wolves have a hard schedule. They play more games in division this year and last year they were 1-15 within their division. I don’t see it happening.

Of course Minny will make the playoffs this year, after trading for Howard, Kobe, Rondo, and Lebron how could they not?

The playoffs are about as far away from the Wolves this year as is Kahn winning the "GM of the Century" award.

Wow, I would be shocked if the TWolves ended up with the 7th seed. The Mavs, Lakers, Thunder, Grizzlies, Spurs are all clearly better and I’d say that the Blazers, Clippers, Rockets, Nuggets and Jazz are all better as well. Minny is going to have one of the worst defences in the league.

The Blazer are not a lock to be a playoff team.. I think the SUNS are better than the Blazers with no Brandon, Rudy , Andre Miller( very underrated in my opinion)  and what about the health of Aldridge and Oden?

Sure Minny will make the Playoffs… With a rookie PG, A SF that plays like PF or is it a PF that play like a SF, Love who is great but plays little to no D and a Rookie under sized 4…

They do have a ton and I mean A TON of young ballers… just need to put it together.

Don’t ask why, but I’ve had this thread archived since it was posted and have been looking to bring it back up ever since seeing Rubio’s debut.

Taking a look back onto the trade and what the Clippers gave up, I believe ‘bOBers1’ one time post was a rather scary prediction looking back on it now and he deserves some credit for making it. In addition looking back the Clippers did steal CP3 in my opinion. Harsh but true, especially taking Gordon’s injuries.

However the reason I bring this thread back to life is one to get your views on the deal looking back. Especially as I remember that most people did feel both the pick and Gordon were too much at the time and secondly to bring up some people’s view on Minny before the season started and how far they’ve gone.

I just would like to say for all of you who felt Minny sucked before the season started how wrong you look now. That’s all.
