CP3 Officially On The Trade Block
Hornets are quietly shopping CP3 and they want either expiring contracts or young wings or a true center in return.
The Top 5 are
I see him either in Detroit or LA with Washington and New York as possiblities. Detroit can get rid of two expiring contracts and give up the lottery pick New Orleans can add an expiring deal for Detroit so Detroit can get in the Melo Cup imagine CP3/Melo/Gordon/Villanueva/2011 Lottery Pick/Additional cap room and a new coach
You can't just make a post like this without the link.
give us something. otherwise this thread is stupid.
Atlantas the only team on there that makes sense. He wants to win, maybe a sign and trade for Joe Johnson, and a pick.
You didn't provide a link or anything, so I don't know how it's official, but... Indiana definitely has the expiring contracts.
Atlanta and Detroit would be good fits.
Detroit could offer Stuckey and/or Tayshaun Prince, Austin Daye (?) and their 2010 1st round pick.
Atlanta would offer Joe Johnson, 2010 1st round pick and I think the Hornets would ask for Teague or Mo Evans
I deal would be fair for ATL and NO but I don't think JJ wants to go to NO especially with NO financial problems and JJ wants a max contract.
I saw a link where SA offered Parker for CP3.
I would love to see a Chris Paul to NY.
this guy is an idiot. posting random false information should lead to a ban
What's funny is he said it was "official" lol.
And how do you know this? Are you a reporter?
Best point guard in world for expiring contracts and a pick. lol. Dumbest thing I've ever heard. If pick was John Wall plus a star quality player or two, maybe.
i think hes the same guy who started the Delonte West and Gloria James rumor
He probably won't be on the block till early next year if the Hornets get off to a terrible start or the team financial problems get worse.
I read this in a newspaper to all the idiots out there talkin about a ban. BUt yeah thanks for the positive responses I see some are still mature out there
I really hope he isn't on the trade block. If he is, then the Hornets are making a big, big mistake. New Orleans was a playoff team when CP3 was healthy and David West played well. Sure, they never advanced far, but they have more pieces now. Add a great young point guard in Darren Collison, a scoring punch in Marcus Thornton (whom I believe is better off the bench), and a possible quality small forward in the late lotto of this year's draft (Xavier Henry, or Wesley Johnson if he slips), and you have a team that could easily see itself back in the playoffs next year. It's rare that you see a point guard be able to get 20+ points, 10+ assists, 2+ steals, and less than 3 turnovers on a nightly basis.
Collison played extremely well while Paul was out, but he turned the ball over too much. It might have just been inexperience, or it might just be how he plays. Either way, it's too early to trade -- arguably -- the best point guard in the league and insert Collison at the starting spot.
You didn't read anything anywhere about CP3 on the block, unless you read the imaginary newspaper in your head....Or was it the National Enquirer?
Shakes head and walks away
Daaaamm a negative -41!!!!! U guys are mean!! I see y'all are serious about y'all basketball..y'all be wanting a link..lol
If phil retires paul and scott could be in la
