TheWizardParticipantCousins is showcasing his great post-skills so far this season and a suprsingly accurate jumper to about 22 feet. . I am loving his playmaking skills down low. If he could stay out of foul trouble and stay in shape to play 35 minutes a game, he would be a stat monster.

ChrispyParticipantCousins has amazing feet. Not a very explosive guy vertically, but man is he agile down low. If he can get a semi-consistant jumper out to 15 he will be ridiculously tough. he has nice touch so that might not be too far away…

dye84Participantkeep in mind not only was this the first game of the season, tyreke wasnt there to take the pressure on him, would like to see how he and tyreke mesh, i also thought he had/would have the best debut of the rookies until griffin stepped on the court, but still very nice debut by cousins, if ur a kings fan like me, u dont miss spencer hawes at all

Rock_Cat78ParticipantHe’s going to make the Nets regret draft night. I still shake my head at them taking Favors over Cousins.

Tongue-Out-Like-23ParticipantYeah, the Nets don’t need 2 semi immobile bigs, the Net’s need to have this combination of athletic and immobile. That’s why Derrick Favors was the right choice. Cousins should have been the 2nd or 4th pick in the draft.

ChrischiParticipantYeah, the Sixers already have Holiday and Iggy and no center. Why pick another ball dominant wing who doesn’t have range and not the center.
Turner had a nice first game though.

Rock_Cat78ParticipantOkay, the Nets can have a guy like Favors who is all athlete, but doesn’t have near the skills Cousins does and probably never will. Not many bigs are in the NBA now that have a legit back to the basket post game. Favors may develop eventually, but he is very raw with a long way to go. Save a few games, he wasn’t all that impressive at Tech last year.

sheltwon3ParticipantI knew Cousins would be this good and all the people who doubted him are looking really stupid. I will say I am surprised at his passing. I know Calipari said he wanted to play point guard when he first came to Kentucky but I didn’t realize how possible that could have been with the way his handles and passes for a big man or even for any player for that matter.

sheltwon3ParticipantFavors was a good pick up for NJ because long term he is a better piece to put next to Lopez but still Philly and Minny are looking more stupid now then ever. They screwed up in free agency and the draft. I will say this NJ looked good last night with a handle Harris and Lopez. Also Williams needs to start.

WrecklessParticipantFirst? I dont know about all of that.
But it is hard to find a really good bigman these days, so I can understand where your coming from.
