Corey Fisher

I caught some flack here when I said there is no way he gets drafted. It looks like he is having a terrible season. His FG% is 34%, and he is shooting 23% from three point land. There is no place in the NBA for 6-foot tweeners unless your name is Allen Iverson.

Fisher will not shoot this

Fisher will not shoot this low all season, he's missing alot of easy shots he usually makes.... expect him to step it up when Big East play starts in January. still NBA bound...

@sonnyred

I was one of the people who gave you a hard time. Let's wait to reserve our judgments until the draft actually occurs. By the way, his percentages may be low- but he is still averaging 15 points, 4.9 assists and 1.9 steals on the number 8 team in the country. That doesn't sound like a terrible season to me.

da1pot - exactly.....and how

da1pot - exactly.....and how many top players do you get in the 2nd round? Fisher has the talent and ability of most first round picks....the only thing truly holding him back is his jumpshot (hasn't been falling so far), because he can get to the basket on anybody.

ps here's some clips from his season so far

Anyone think Jay Wright is a

Anyone think Jay Wright is a bit overrated as a coach? He seems to get the top talent from the NYC, Jersey, Phily area, but his teams always seem to come up small in big games. He has had teams with multiple NBA players and big expectations, and most of his good players have stayed for multiple years, no one and done guys.

Fisher has no position in the NBA, he is not a true point, and not a true shooting guard, and he doesn't have the superior talent to make up for that.

I don't think Fisher is more

I don't think Fisher is more than a late 2nd round pick at best either. Even if he gets more efficient, even though I'm very skeptical he'll do so. He has no true position (6'2 SG basically), he's still wild and mistake prone, and he's not a very good shooter. I don't like him as a prospect very much. Scottie Reynolds was/is actually a better prospect, and was a better player at Villanova, and he didn't even get picked. Fisher has shown less PG ability than Reynolds did too. I'm not a fan of Fisher as a prospect. Or Wayns either to be honest.

And yes, Jay Wright is an overrated coach. Villanova gets talent and has physical players, but when they get down their guards start to run around with their heads cut off. He doesn't manage the game the best.

Jay Wright is overrated, but

Jay Wright is overrated, but he took a team that started 1 four star, and 3 three star players to the Final Four....yes you're an idiot.....

2005 - Sweet 16

2006 - Elite 8

2007 - 1st Round

2008 - Sweet 16

2009 - Final Four

2010 - 2nd Round

and let's not act like he's doing this with the best talent in the country like I said, the Final Four team started 4 guys who were ranked by NOBODY!!!!! only Scottie.

think before you speak clown, before I have to come back in here and educate you again

Nobody speak on Villanova unless I allow you to, because you really don't know what you're talking about.

You sound like a hysterical

You sound like a hysterical little girl who just got her feelings hurt. Jay Wright hasn't done nothing, outside of a lucky win against PItt all of his teams have underachieved. Wright gets out coached every year when he gets past the second round. You're a moron for talking about him not having talent too, because his teams have had high preseason rankings, and highly ranked recruiting classes. Kyle Lowery was the only one smart enough to get away from Wright and Nova before they ruined his game! Wright had a top 3 recruiting class in 2009 and lost ST Marys.....

Go find the nearest highway

Go find the nearest highway and play frogger you dumb*ss...

That 2009 class barely got PT last year idiot....Yarou was out most of the season with Hepatitis B. Armwood barely saw the floor and will probably transfer soon. Cheek and Wayns played about 15 minutes a game last season so let's not act like they are the reason we lost. add in it only takes one game to lose, ever heard of an upset before? somebody has never watched March Madness before obviously.

Please go find me programs that have played in the tourney for 6 straight years like Nova. Who was the last team to play in the Final Four that started 44444444444 THREE star unranked recruits?

Villanova's class recruiting rankings

2005 - unranked

2006 - 24th

2007 - 20th

2008 - unranked

2009 - 2nd

go smack yaself you idiot. You don't watch basketball and never have.

You don't know anything about

You don't know anything about Villanova basketball and how Jay Wright has turned this program into an ELITE one from where it used to be.

Stop acting like a swisher,

Stop acting like a swisher, and drop the man crush. He had 3 top 25 recruiting classes within a five year span, and only took one team to the final four, the other seasons ended in utter disappointment. He has also had the majority of his players for 3 and 4 years, so having back to back top recruiting classes doesn't make a big deal. I don't even know why a guy over 6"4 would go to NOVA because he has no shot of getting better being coached by Wright. The Wildrats are such an elite program it took a lucky last second shot by Scottie Reynolds to have the same number of Final Four appearances as George Mason the last six years. What was ST Marys recruiting class last year when they embarassed an "elite" Villanova team? That is after they barely got by Robert Morris. Jay Wright has only gotten his team past the first weekend of the Tournament one time in SIX years TARD!

This guy is a f*ckin

This guy is a f*ckin idiot...how did he get the team past the first weekend once when he went to two Sweet 16s, an Elite 8, and a Final 4.....that's 4 past atleast one weekend dumb*ss.

The first 2 rounds are in the first weekend....learn how the tourney works, before you run your mouth.

Wright isn't a bad coach, but

Wright isn't a bad coach, but he's mentioned often as an elite coach. He's solid, but he's not an Elite coach. Which IMO makes him overrated. He does get Nova in the tourny and they are competitive, but he's underachieved in the Big Dance just as much as he's overachieved.
