halfdecayedParticipantWhere do you think he will play next season? I really don’t buy the Knicks option, they stink, and I doubt they will improve much in the next few years with Melo declining more and more…

220ParticipantIt depends on what Mike Conley is looking for. If he just wants a big contract then there are a lot of possibilities. If he wants to win then there doesn’t seem to be a better team than Memphis that would want him. Perhaps Indiana if they want an upgrade at point guard.

SeattleSuperChronicsParticipantStays in Memphis. But wouldn’t be surprised if Dallas throws money at him.

Al PerezParticipantIndiana- isn’t he from this area? They could use an upgrade and he would join a contender who maybe he could help assert to the head of the East.

benny15ParticipantI’ll continue to hope that he signs with the Jazz.
i think he’s the best fit for them and in a way, they might be the best fit for him. we know he can score but he’s not really a scoring point guard type, he’s a traditional one. in utah he gets to do what he does best which is facilitate, control the game and deffend. favors, hood and hayward are good scoring options but not to the point that it wont allow conley to get some of his own shots up.
his wings are floor spacers and his bigs are post threats, and we know he has good experience with playing with 2 legit bigmen. he’ll have a good young point guard he could mentor who will serve as his back-up. and, he will be in a system that emphasises deffense and getting stops to win the game, something that he’s had the most success in his career.
i think memphis is still a good choice, but with the team going away from zach randolph as their primary scoring option, seen before gasol went out for the season, and Marc not really a volume scorer, think they could use a more dynamic scoring point such as Teague or an undersize sg such as memphis native Monta Ellis to man the position. it would allow marc to distribute from the post more and free him up from double teams.
now i do acknowledge that Conley can play this role for them, but i dont feel its his natural game or plays to his strengths. i think what Utah can offer him as far as role on the team would be much more suited and it could be great to spend the rest of his career helping lead a young team to the play-offs and advance. who knows, if their young talent take some big leaps in development, maybe even a championship

mamadouParticipantI want him in LA, but there’s a lot of great fits for him.
He could play for 13 teams next season(Grizzlies, Jazz, Lakers, Knicks, Nets, Pacers, Kings, Sixers, Mavs, Bucks, Rockets, Bulls-Cavs and their head cases),…
For the money, for a LT project bringing his leadership, PO contention, title contention, rebuilding, sign and trade.
