Both East and West has 1-2 seed matchups.

The East is injury riddled.  Love is out, Kyrie is hurt, Millsap is also not 100%.

I think Hawks are the better team, and match up well with the Cavs.  That said, it’s not difficult to imagine LBJ dominating 2 games, and Kyrie one game, with Mozgov/Thompson absolutely beasting it on the boards and winning a game just from offensive rebounds.

This series should go to 7, and Hawks will have the home court advantage.  Can LBJ add to his already great playoff resume?

Meanwhile in the West, the only way I see Houston defeating Warriors will be through a Steph Curry injury.  It is truly a battle of matchups.

    MVP candidates: Curry v Harden

    Defensive centres: Bogut v Howard

Defensive swiss army knives: Green v Smith/Ariza

Reliable instant offense: Thompson v no one

High energy guys: Iguodala/Barnes v Jones

Houston doesn’t have the defense to stop both Curry and Thompson.  I see Warriors advancing in 4 or 5.  Even in Beverly was available, I’d still see Warriors in 6.
