From a prospect standpoint what do you guys think of him?

I’m pretty sure you have prolly seen him on And1 mixtape tours.

He stands 6’1 and about 160 pounds.

He could have went somewhere with his talent but never did.

He’s got NBA athleticism(Speed,Quickness,Hops) for sure.

And1 Tournaments and dunk showcases are not the NBA.  There are tens of thousands of guys who can dunk and jump out of the gym and 300 or so people in the entire world play in the NBA.

     True.

But his athleticism is one a different level, he is super quick, fast and explosive, I didn’t say he could play in the NBA.

I do know him personally and he has had tryouts with the Knicks,Spurs,Pistons, and some overseas workouts, he’s not just an AND1 player he can really play.

And that’s why I asked the questions I asked in the OP.

It’s hard to analyze a player from a mix tape, but I’m pretty sure the D-League has open tryouts.  He should try out there if he’s on the verge of being a pro player.

O no he’s done with the pro stuff he’s almost 30 or is 30, it never worked out because of legal troubles, and he has no background of organized ball at all,but his talent alone got him some tryouts just never panned out because of the legal troubles.

And I agree you can’t tell how good someone really is from a mixtape, but athleticism and talent is easy to spot, and he has that.

Obviously a great explosive athlete with a nice handle, but the NBA and AND1 are two completely different styles. He wouldnt be able to play that same way in the League. He’s a slashin and dunkin pg at 6’1 160, imagine him trying to blow pass an Elite NBA guard defender like Rondo, or Chris Paul and trying to finish a dunk against Howard, Bynum or somebody, its not going to happen.

Also the highlights only showed him attacking the rim in one on one situations or fastbreaks doesn’t look like he can run a team as a pg the position he’ll have to play.

Would have loved to see him compete in the NBA dunk contest tho, maybe that what they should do bring in guys like him to compete against the best NBA dunkers.

No he’s not a true PG he’s a scorer, and how many guys do blow by Rondo? lol not many, but I do think he could hold his own with some of them, he used to kill Kenny Bruner(AND1 mixtape player who played for John Thompson at Georgetown ) in practices and was deemed the best guard AND1 has possibly ever seen.

I’m not saying anything about him being able to play in the NBA, but I do think his quickness, speed and explosive leaping ability translates and is better than some if not most of the PG’s in the L.

Great athlete strength is the only thing holding him back from being elite, didn’t see much of a jumpshot can he knock that down on the regular? Has talent and is gifted do you know why he didn’t pursue his pro career? Like many have already said the NBA and AND1 are two different things,I don’t think he could do what he’s doing in those highlights in the NBA on a regular basis but I do agree that he is an NBA athlete and could rival some of the guards in the league athleticism.
