festar35ParticipantHey guys I have a question about a couple of guards and their NBA potential.
I will admit i have not paid much attention to this point on these guys:
Terry Rozier – I have heard a lot Bledsoe comparison, but I don’t see him mentioned as a lottery pick and he is putting up great numbers, what are his limitations keeping him from the lottery? 23/5/5 line todayJerian Grant – He put up 23/6/12 + 3stls and 2blks and help beat Duke today. Again I dont see him in lottery conversation, he is 6’5 PG from what I read and hear has a great feel for the game, just asking where do his limitations come in?
Last question Jerian Grant or Delon Wright at the next level?

highflyer0ParticipantHonestly, Rozier puts up very good stats, but just based on the eye test, I can’t see him making a big impact in the NBA. He’s a good scorer, but not a very good shooter and he’s undersized for his lack of elite passing ability. I’m not sure why he’s compared to Bledsoe, but I think he can be a good sparkplug off the bench or perhaps develop into a starter if he works hard on his PG skills.
I haven’t watched enough of Delon Wright to comment on him but his stats are very impressive, especially for a PG his size.
Jerian Grant is awesome. I really don’t know if it will carry over into the NBA, but I believe he’s the best player in college basketball. There isn’t anything he can’t do on the court. He has terrific size for a point guard, a nice jumper, a good handle, and he’s a great passer. The reason I say I’m unsure about his NBA future is because it’s hard to tell if his athleticism will be a limiting factor at the next level. He’s definitely a good athlete at the college level but he’d probably have pretty mediocre athletic tools for an NBA guard. I absolutely love his game though and I believe he has a chance to be a very good starting guard at the next level if his athleticism carries over. I just don’t know how easily he’ll be able to get by people once he gets to the League.

TarHeelRavenParticipantAfter watching Jerian last night, he is definitely ACC player of the year. Okafor is good but you can’t miss free throws down the stretch and ride the bench in crunch time and be the best player in the league. Grant is the best player in the ACC and it might not even be close.

CameronCrazy11ParticipantI have to agree with you about Grant over Okafor at this point. My question is does last night’s game make Jerian Grant the front runner for national player of the year?

CameronCrazy11ParticipantI think Terry Rozier could have a Bobby Jackson type career
