I understand the 2013 mock means nothing right now, but I promise Zeller won’t be the first pick

If Indiana hangs up their first banner since ’87 and Mr Zeller wins the National Player Of The Year Award, then he could have a very very good shot at going number one

No, in that situations he still has very little chance of going number one.

Bazz should go #1 (at this point) no questions asked.

Bazz reminds me of MKG with a jump shot. I would find it hard to believe that he will not be the consensus first selection by this time next year.

3 things will keep Cody zeller from being the top pick and bazz being the top pick:1. The shooting guard position is getting weaker in the NBA,2: Cody zellers t-red arms,3.bazz is compared to Kobe Bryant and has an NBA ready body

I see three candidates for the #1 pick next year right now…

#1. Shabazz- For obvious reasons, high motor, super talent, can do it all. NBA ready body as mentioned before.

#2. James McAdoo- Maybe i’m reaching on this but he really hit his stride late in the year and if he can show improved offensive arsenal he can be a true inside-out threat that would be deadly. Watch out for him next year IMO.

#3. Nerlens- Defensive talent, and as we all know is compared to Davis in that regards. Probably not at his level in terms of overall talent but will make a defensive impact and if his body gets more NBA ready and he shows a wiling to bang in the post he could make some competition for Shabazz.

Shabbaz, Nerlens, McAdoo, hell even Poythress have more chances of going number 1..

He’s a tweener but he’s a very good scorer but if I had to draft a small forward I would take Rodney hood this guy can score from any and everywhere

I remember everyone rushing to crown Barnes the top pick and next Kobe. Shabazz could be much more than Barnes, but until he plays in college, relax.  Noel could very well end up like Drummond and Shabazz like Barnes… in which case, Zeller could be #1.  Is it entirely likely? No, but I fail to see it as impossible given the 2 most recent examples.

This is why I like the 2013 class better than this one. Way better top 5 than this year, although 2012 is by far a deeper class.
