RUDEBOY_ParticipantHoward, CP3 and Blake on the same team will be TOTALLY UNFAIR!!!!

Michael.S.ParticipantThey wouldn’t get Howard if they trade all their pieces to NO.

What The DevilParticipantThey haven’t traded all of their pieces…if I remember correctly they still have the wolves first rounder and aminu and eric bledsoe and possibly mo williams….not the most attractive offer but still decent considering once they lose Howard they will be rebuilding anyways.

BothTeamsPlayedHardParticipantAn offer of Eric Gordon and DeAndre Jordan would put the Hornets at the corner of Bobcat Alley and Timberwolf Way.

IndianaBasketballParticipantJarret Jack, Eric Gordon, Trevor Ariza, free-agent power forward, Emeka Okafor and DeAndre Jordan aren’t a playoff team, but definitely better than the Bobcats and Wolves.
Regardless, the Hornets are going to be a non-playoff team after trading Paul and officially back in rebuilding mode.

nyk92ParticipantGot a quick question for you all. Everyone knows that Chris wants the Knicks, however they do not have thepieces. A third team will need to be involved. Think any one of these two trades could happen? I like the 2nd one more but who knows….
1)http://espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=8x5pf2p………Picks/cash/ and probably shumpert will need to be involved as well
2)I was not able to make the numbers work out perfectly just yet because shumpert doesnt have a contract but nonetheless, these r the main guys in the trade-
Knicks get: Paul and hinrich,,,Atlanta gets: Billups, Ariza and Okafor, 2nd round pick from NY and NO and cash
…….NO gets: Josh smith, landry field, tony douglas, iman shumpert
Knicks squad- Got CP3
Paul/hinrich
FA/ bench help( kind of a problem haha)
Melo/ Shawe williams/ jeffries
Amare/ Turaf/ jeffries
FA center/ Turiaf/ amare
Atlanta’s team: becomes more balanced if you really look at it, could be benifical
Billups/teague
Johnson/marvin williams
Ariza/marvin williams
Horford/zaza
Emeka/zaza
Hornets team: Start to rebuild with Fields, shumpert, Josh smith and douglas. Not that bad of a let down if you compare it to Lopez and 2 first rounders or Bynum and a first rounder in my opinion.

That roster would put them squarely in contention for the number 1 pick for the next two or maybe even three years. What makes them better than the Clippers the year they drafted Griffin?

aamir543ParticipantIf the Clips can get CP3 or Dwight while keeping Eric Gordon, they will be the most exciting team to watch.

IndianaBasketballParticipantIt’s not about being perfect. You’re good. I just can’t read it. IF you want people to understand what you’re writing, give it a little more organization.
@BTPH
The Hornets are going to be a lottery team, but I think they’re better than the Bobcats and T-Wolves.
I’ve read different reports. Most of them don’t have Eric Gordon included in the deal and say that Griffin and Gordon are the main selling points on Paul coming to LAC.

ItsVictorOladipoParticipantLot’s of conflicting sources here. I feel CP3 would be more likely to sign with LAC long term if he knew that he would have both Griff AND Gordon as teammates. If Clips want to go after CP3 and win now, trading that Minny pick is a better idea than trading Gordon since even a player like Andre Drummond, Harrison Barnes, Perry Jones or Quincy Miller would proably take at least a couple of years to get to an All-Star level while EG is pretty much there.
David Aldridge: Source adamant that Eric Gordon is NOT in Clips’ offer to NO for CP3. As Yahoo! reported earlier, LAC, GSW, BOS making strongest pitches. about 1 hour ago
Ken Berger: Fellow IU alum Eric Gordon NOT in #Clippers package for CP3 "at this time," source says. Updated story. #NBA #Hornets http://bit.ly/u8Ox3l about 31 minutes ago0 - AuthorPosts
