Clippers Aren’t Going After Iguodala

Despite rumors to the contrary, the Clippers are not going after 76ers forward Andre Iguodala.

Lisa Dillman of the Los Angeles Times wrote the following on her Twitter page Thursday afternoon, “Before day gets away (again), hearing that the Clippers are not interested in Andre Iguodala. Goes beyond that massive contract too.”

Houston Front-Runner To Be Knicks GM

Former Knicks guard Allan Houston is the front-runner to replace Donnie Walsh as the team’s general manager once the latter retires, according to sources.

Walsh wouldn’t confirm or deny Houston’s status.

“He is working with me to learn the position of GM, whether with the Knicks or elsewhere,” Walsh said. “I feel Allan has the tools to be a great GM.”

Houston is currently listed as the team’s special assistant to the president.

The way the Knicks have been playing the past few years, I think putting Allan Houston back on the floor would help them out immensely.
