Just gotta appreciate the work he put in, didn’t think he’d be where he’s at right now and such a joy to watch. He can score in every conceivable way and has a better handle than most point guards. As far as the West goes, I got him right behind Klay and Harden. Maybe even top 5 in the league for SG. Where do you guys rank him?

He’s a sick player on offense; has great handles, a pure jump shot, and is crafty in the way he moves around that court. I honestly think he could be a great starting point guard, like a lillard lite.

On defense CJ is really undersized. He’s a thinner 6’4 and, although he has length, its not really enough to guard the longer 2s in the league. If he was a few inches taller and a bit thicker he’d be a great two way player but his size hold him back

CJ reminds me of Goran Dragic, who can play the 2 but is a pure point guard. Id say CJ is a top 7 SG in the league and its just his size that holds him back

Nice offense, but hurts the Blazers on defense. Not just because of his size, but he needs to work on team defense and man to man defense. But he’s a young guy that has some skills.

Thats his next step though. He’s still young and can spend the off-season developing his defensive game. Makes me think of Bradley Beal. If Beal can somehow stop consistently getting injured, I see similar success. But with CJ and the Blazers, they’re going to get better with time. They’re still a young team and to prove everyone wrong like they did this year, they may have enough attraction power to bring in a free agent, and/or enough confidence to develop into a contender in the next few years.

Dude was straight busting currys a$$ in game 5. Dude can flat out ball and score at all three levels. Portland is such a great young team if they could possibly grab a veteran big man that can score and take attention off of them(looking at you Horford) they’ll be a tough team to beat
