Apparently he failed his physical… I played against this guy in high school and was looking forward to him joining the Kings.
Hopefully he will recover from whatever problem he is having and come back to play in the future.

chevilicousParticipantyea this was truely sad if this was about his heart as expected by slam mag, as the dude as a 6’6 center that pushed the lakers to the brink a few years ago while having to D up bynum and gasol, had the most heart on the court.

iminipandaParticipantI was really looking forward to a local product joining our team. He is a class act and a hard worker on and off the court. I am surely saddened that I will never see him in a Kings uni.

BothTeamsPlayedHardParticipantIt is hard to dislike Chuck Hayes, but that was an awful contract. That is a lot of years and dollars for a limited player who tries hard.
